INTRODUCTION
Bad news is a destroyer of emotions and destabilizes one, no one can ever wish or want to hear bad news. The only way to stop or prevent bad news from one is through prayers, however, some news may look bad, but they eventually turn out for one’s good. Just like Joseph’s story, he was sold by his brothers as a slave, thereafter, he was thrown into the prison by the king when he was lied on that he wanted to rape the king’s wife, all was bad news and it did happen to Joseph, I am sure Joseph must have really felt destabilize and hopeless, but all happened for him to eventually become the Prime minister of that same country. Most bad news originates from the devil. Therefore, prayer is needed to stop every bad news.
In our article today, we will be praying 35 prayers against bad news. God promised us good tidings, as children of God, all the happenings around you should be good news. The devil is always going about seeking whom to devour and to steal one’s joy therefore, we must fight against the devil through prayers.
Bad news comes in different forms, it could be a sack letter, it could be loss of souls to the world, it could be bad news on health status, it could be bad news on accident that claimed lives and so many more bad news. All this bad news can be stopped from happening through prayers. Bad news can be countered by the words of God; therefore, it is expedient for all children of God to be a word addict, studying the words of God must not be far fetched from us. When people are carrying bad news of casting down, we will be saying there is a lifting up for us, (Job 22:29) and when people are dying of one diseases or the other, we will be saying the Lord is our refuge, this can be found in the scripture in Psalm 91. Depending on the bad news that may want to come our way per time, we must stand firm and know the exact words of God to use to counter it.
Regardless of any bad news, do not let fear take hold of you, it is natural to feel down at first, but you must never allow fear to overwhelm you, never give in to the bad news, hold on to the promises of God concerning that situation.
Lastly, remain positive whenever you receive any bad news. Stay calm knowing and trusting God is with you and He will bring you out of the bad news. Victory starts from the mind; it is what you believe in that you will become. If you have strong faith that you will win, believe me, you will win. God honors the desires of our heart. John 14:14 says” If you ask anything in my name, I will give you God also said He honors His words more than His name. So, remain positive and never stop praying.
