40 Prayers Against Strange Death In The Family

Number 1 

Psalm 91:11-12 – “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.”  Also, see Psalm 121:3-5.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I release the ministrations of angels over my family for protection and preservation against death.

Number 2 

Psalm 34:7 – “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and delivers them.” 

Prayer: God, let your angels secure my family and protect us from dangers in Jesus’ name.

Number 3 

Isaiah 59:19 – “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” 

Prayer: I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, every evil plan of death by the enemy against any members of my family is destroyed in Jesus’ name.

Isaiah 59:19 

Prayer; I raise the standard of God against every attack of darkness over my family in Jesus’ name.

Exodus 12:13 – “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” 

Prayer: I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every member of my family as a shield against the power of death. No plague will befall me and my family in Jesus’ name.

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” 

Prayer: Every spirit of premature death assigned against my family, you are rebuked in Jesus’ name.

Psalms 118:17 – “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” 

Prayer: The promise of God is that we will live to declare the works of the Lord. Every covenant of death over any members of my family is destroyed in Jesus’ name.

Romans 8:15 – “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” (Psalm 27:1, Isaiah 41:10) 

Prayer: I rebuke every spirit of slavery in any members of my family in Jesus’ name.

John 11:25-26, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” 

Prayer: Every death sentence over any members of my family is canceled in Jesus’ name.

Prayer; I believe in Jesus, the resurrection and the life. So, I invoke the life of Christ into every member of my family, and resurrection is springing forth in their lives now in Jesus’ name.

Acts 2:24 – “Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” 

Prayer: God, let there be a release of Christ’s power that overcomes death over every member of my family in Jesus’ name.

Revelation 1:18 – “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” 

Prayer: For Jesus Christ has the key of death, every strange death warrant over my family is destroyed in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Every opened grave because of my family, be covered now in Jesus’ name. The power of resurrection in Christ delivers my family from untimely death in Jesus’ name.

2 Samuel 6:6-7 – The death of Uzzah was caused by a mistake. He touched the Ark of the Covenant when he was not supposed to during the Ark’s transportation on an ox cart. 

Prayer: God, give each of my family members the wisdom to overcome all mistakes that might result in strange death in Jesus’ name.

Joshua 7:1-26 – This is the story of Achan, who took forbidden things from Jericho, leading to his death and that of his family. 

Prayer: Every power against my family to make choices that lead to death, loose your grip over them in Jesus’ name.

Galatians 3:13 – “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” 

Prayer: Oh Lord, let every generational curse of premature death over my family lineage be broken in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: We receive the redemption of Christ to overcome every strange death in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen my family to walk in the spirit in Jesus’ name.

Proverbs 14:12 – “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” 

Prayer: God, give my family the strength to lean on you and trust you for their lives in Jesus’ name. Let them find it easy to surrender to your divine plan.

Ezekiel 18:19-20 – “Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” 

Prayer: Oh Lord, deliver every member of my family from sins that may lead to their strange death.

Psalms 31:16 – “Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.” 

Prayer: By your help and mercies, O Lord, arrest every wicked soul in my family so that they may have long life and prosperity.

Ezekiel 18:20 – “But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.” 

Prayer: Jesus Christ, just as you arrested Paul the Apostle on his way to Damascus, let there be an arrest of every wicked and sinful soul in my family for them to live in your will.

Psalm 107:20 – “He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.” 

Prayer: Father, for your words save and deliver. Destroy every destroying power over every member of my family in Jesus’ name.

 Psalms 31:15 – “My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.” 

Prayer: Father, I commit our lives and days into your hands; let them be secure by divine protection.

Number 25 

Philippians 4:7 – “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” 

Prayer: God, let your peace fill my family in Jesus’ name. I decree the joy of the Holy Ghost into my family in Jesus’ name.

Number 26 

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 – “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:11) 

Prayer: Oh Lord, let my family be filled with your spirit of prayer to intercede in love and unity. Make this family a community of prayers who can support and encourage one another in times of trouble or any difficult times.

1 Kings 13:26 – “And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.” 

Prayer: Father, give every member of my family the heart to be obedient to you and your words.

Number 28

 Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” 

Prayer: I send the angels of the Lord to destroy every weapon fashioned against any member of my family in Jesus’ name.

Number 29 

Galatians 6:17 – “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” 

Prayer: Every trouble and introduction of death into my family, be cast away from my family in Jesus’ name. The marks of the Lord come upon every member of my family for safety in Jesus’ name.

Number 30 

Psalms 34:17 – “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” (Also see Galatians 6:17) 

Prayer: Anyone or anything assigned to trouble my family for death, die in Jesus’ name

Number 31 

1 John 5:4-5 – “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 

Prayer: God, I dedicate my family members into your hands; let their lives belong fully to you and be for your glory in Jesus’ name.

Number 32 

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 – “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 

Prayer: For every member of my family, we receive the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ for long life and strength.

Number 33 

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” 

Prayer: God, destroy every tool and plan of the devil over my family in Jesus’ name. By the mercies of the Lord, I destroy every evil assignment over my family in Jesus’ name.

Number 34 

Psalm 34:18 – “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” 

Prayer: My Father, grant every member of my family the heart and strength to overcome offenses and grief in Jesus’ name.

Number 35 

Ephesians 4:32 – “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”  

Prayer: Father, grant all my family the grace to forgive and release everyone from the chains of their heart due to offenses.

Number 36 

Colossians 3:14-15 – “And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” 

Prayer: I decree and declare that the love of God flows through my family, and let us be bound together in love and unity in Jesus’ name.

Number 37 

Psalm 91:2 – “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” (Psalm 9:2-10) 

Prayer: Lord, I commit my family into your care; I trust that you are our refuge and fortress, protecting us from every evil in Jesus’ name.

Number 38 

Romans 6:13 – “Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  Romans 6:23

Prayer: Every power of sin over any member of my family is destroyed in Jesus’ name. God, let your grace preserves each members of my family alive unto the day of their salvation and repentance. 

Number 39 

Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (1 Peter 2:24) 

Prayer: God, let there be healing for every member of my family who has one sickness or another in Jesus’ name.

Number 40 

Psalms 91:16 – “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” 

Prayer: With long life, God will satisfy me and my family and show us His salvation in Jesus’ name.
