40 Prayers Against The Traps Of The Enemies

The devil, who is the enemy of our soul, is busy roaming about, seeking whom he will destroy. He is busy with his three-fold ministry of stealing, killing and destroying the children of God (John 10:10).

However, he carries out this ministry of his by setting traps for God’s elect. Most times, he uses what we are familiar with in setting traps for us. He uses the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life.

EXAMPLES OF TRAPS OF THE ENEMY

The enemy can set traps for Christians using any of the under listed methods:

1. Using what we like most. This can be any of these:

• Money
• Power
• Position
• Woman
• Food
• Drinking

2. Tempting us with fake promises.
3. False prophecies from false prophets.
4. Sickness and diseases
5. Recurring debts
6. The enemy can use your trial of faith to set traps for you.

ESCAPING THE TRAPS OF THE ENEMY

The good news however, is that our God is able to prevent us from falling into these traps or if we have fallen, He is able to deliver us from the traps.

If we desire to escape the traps of the enemy, we should consider the following:

1. Surrender to Jesus.
2. Praying targeted prayers.
3. Going for deliverance.
4. Studying, meditating and applying the word of God.
5. Avoiding those things and places that can bring us into the traps again.
6. Constantly fellowshipping with other brethren.
7. Making ourselves available for the kingdom use, especially by joining the workforce in the church.
8. Discarding the objects of the trap.
9. Fasting, praying and vigils.

That is why the prayers below are very important against every trap of the enemy.

May God hear us as we pray in Jesus’ name.

1. Father, let Your fire destroy every satanic trap of the enemy set to catch me in the name of Jesus.
2. My Father and my God, expose all satanic schemes devised to trap my destiny in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, let my breakthrough frustrate and scatter the agenda of the enemy in the name of Jesus.
4. Lord, let the gatherings of evil planners e scattered to desolation in the name of Jesus.

38. Every bait the enemy wants to use to lure into his traps, I refuse to be enticed by you in the name of Jesus.
39. My Father, please deliver me from every enemy of my soul in the name of Jesus.
40. Every trap set by the wicked ones to truncate my destiny, be destroyed by fire in the name of Jesus.
