PRAYER POINTS AGAINST FAMILY STRONGHOLDS

Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Before you begin to pray you need to understand some certain things so you can pray with understanding. Ask yourself this, what are strongholds? Why should you pray against strongholds? 

Strongholds in this context may refer to powers that may want to manipulate your destiny, cause setbacks to your life, cause limitations to your progress, and bring downfall to you.

The scripture makes us understand that the war is not a physical one but a spiritual one. This means we should opt for spiritual weapons, which is the word of God, Faith in God, and prayer. In other words put on the whole armor of God.

The enemy is roaring the earth, causing afflictions to the children of men but those who trust the lord shall be strong. The only way we can beat strongholds is by using the weapon of God, they are torn down and destroyed.

Strongholds sometimes may be physical, when I say physical, I mean it may be in form bad habits, addiction and character. The enemy may have implanted a physical stronghold in you. You may find yourself struggling to break free from it. What you need most is God and discipline to break free from this stronghold. 

Spiritually they are stubborn spirits, which does not go out easily, remember in the scripture where the disciples came to Jesus and asked him why they couldn’t cast out the evil. He told them in Matthew 17:21 that this one cannot go except by fasting and prayer. There are some stubborn spirits that need radical and aggressive prayers combined with fasting before they will give you space. So you need to activate and charge your spirit. 

Today we are going to spend time and fire life changing prayers into our lives and family and command every physical and spiritual stronghold that has given an edge to the enemy to evade our lives to be destroyed in Jesus name.

Prayer Points Against Family Strongholds

1. Father Lord wherever they have presented the case file of my family for bondage, oh lord I pray for fire from above.
2. Lord, I declare myself free from every stronghold of the enemy. I am in Christ Jesus and I am free from every satanic stronghold.
3. Every ancestral curse working against my family, lord today we break free from it in Jesus name Numbers 23:23.
4. Every covenant entered by my forefathers that keeps my family in bondage, oh lord as I begin to pray, we enter a covenant with you in Jesus name.
5. I declare and decree redemption upon my life and my family, I am free and no longer under the bondage of hell.   
6. Father every unfriendly friend be exposed and destroyed in Jesus name.
7. Lord every stronghold of fear, depression and pressure break out from my family in Jesus name.
8. Every old gate, every ancient power standing as a blocking force against our family progress, lord I destroy in the name of Jesus.
9. Lord every pronunciation against my family as I begin to pray lord I cancel them in Jesus name. 
10.  Father devoured every power standing to hinder our breakthrough in the family in Jesus name. Jeremiah 5:14
11.  Father every enemy troubling my family, as I pray today trouble them in the name of Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 1:6
12.  Lord every seed of reproach sown into my family, father they wither and die in the name of Jesus.  
13. In john 10:10, Lord you make us to be aware of the agenda of the wicked but lord we pray that you breathe your life in our lives in Jesus name.
14. Every evil hand dragging my family to the ground, father I pray for divine help to pull us through and take us to greater height in Jesus name.
15. Every evil power that wants to enslave us refusing my family from freedom, I pray today and declare freedom in the name of Jesus.
16. Lord whatsoever evil seed planted in my family foundation, Lord I uproot them in the name of Jesus.
17. Every strong man assigned to hinder our progress be Paralyzed and die in the name of Jesus.
18. Every evil that my family has inherited, Lord today they die by the blood of Jesus.
19. Every man assigned to bless my family but has been hindered by the evil ones, lord as I begin to pray. You remove every evil blind in the name of Jesus.
20. Every work the enemy thinks they have completed in my life, Lord I destroy their work in the name of Jesus.
21. Every strategy of the evil one against my life is canceled in Jesus name.
22. Every Demonic army fighting against my family Lord we declare victory over them in the name of Jesus and we set angels of war to destroy them in Jesus name.
23. Every satanic power stealing blessings released upon my family they die in the name of Jesus.
24. Every demonic gadget monitoring our lives we destroy them in the name of Jesus.
25. We scatter and terminate every plan of the enemy in the name of Jesus.
