In most developing countries today, so many people are unemployed.  Some that are employed are underpaid, and some are fearful of being laid off.  Some other groups are worried about promotions.  Many are looking for better jobs.  There are a number of issues facing our world today regarding employment. Some of these issues are:

1. A superior threatening you at work.
2. Probable loss of job due to downsizing.
3. Incessant complaints from your boss about every task you do.
4. Fear of the unknown
5. Fear of losing your job due to past experience
6. Being framed up by a colleague
7. Fraud
8. Conspiracy by coworkers.

WHAT CAN I DO TO SAFEGUARD MY JOB?

In every life experience, we have our parts to play while God has His part to play. God will not play your own part for you. In keeping my job save, these are a few things expected of us. Some of them are:

1. Acknowledge God as the giver of the job.
2. In performing your duties, put God first.
3. Be hardworking and diligent at your job.
4. Get the necessary skills needed to be outstanding in your job/career.
5. Be humble, and obedient to your superior.
6. Learn the act of teamwork.
7. Always take to correction, and be willing to make amendments where necessary.

1. Father Lord, I thank you for your grace and love for me.
2. Father, thank you for how you’ve been blessing me, specifically with this job that pays my bills and daily puts food on my table.
3. Lord, I thank you for taking good care of me.
4. Father, please forgive me in any way I have indolent at my job in Jesus name.
5. Father, there are lots of job insecurities around me. Please Lord, help me secure my job in the name of Jesus.
6. I come against every power of error and mistakes at my job in Jesus name.
7. Lord Jesus, please help me not to fall into fear of insecurities as regards my job in Jesus name.
8. Lord, please establish the work of my hands by helping me to be productive, patient, focused, and insightful at my job in the name of Jesus.
