 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

INTRODUCTION:

Nigeria is in a state of civil unrest, if care is not taken at this moment, the worst may happen. Therefore, our intensified prayers are needed to ask God for mercy and to stop anything that may want to trigger war in the nation. In our article, we will be praying 40 prayers against war in Nigeria.

 Peace is the opposite of war; war is a state of armed conflict between different countries or states or different groups within a country. War is a hostile environment where killings and destroying both living and nonliving things occur, no one can ever ask or pray for war, because war is destructive and does not care if one is a child, adult, or a pregnant woman. During a war, no business can occur which may lead to famine and economic downturn, therefore as a Christian, we need to stand in the gap for Nigeria. The economy is bad presently and insecurity issues are high, a lot is going on negatively now which may lead to war. According to our anchor scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14, if we can humble ourselves, and seek God’s face, God will hear us and heal our land.

To pray against war in Nigeria, we must turn from our wicked ways, ask God to forgive us and pray to God to heal our land. There is nothing God can not do, He said if we ask anything in His name, He said He will do it. Peace is by far better than war, when peace is in place, all things will go well for the nation.

40 Prayers Against War In Nigeria

1. Thank You Lord Jesus, for how far You have helped us and helping us in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
2. Thank You Lord, for Your faithfulness, thank You Lord for You are our hope for tomorrow in the name of Jesus.
3. We ask that You forgive all our sins as a country in the name of Jesus.
4. Lord Jesus forgives us of every innocent blood crying for vengeance in Nigeria in the name of Jesus. 
5. Lord, You are a merciful God, Let Your mercy speak over our nation and wipe away every tear in the name of Jesus.
6. Every power crying out for blood through war, we come against you by the power in the name of Jesus.
7. Every power, opposing the peace of God over Nigeria, perishes by fire in the name of Jesus.
8. I fire back, every arrow of war fired into Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
9. We silence every event that may want to lead to war in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
10. Every enemy of the peace of Nigeria, falls and die in the name of Jesus.
11. Let the whirlwind of God scatter every man or woman meeting to create war in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
12. We command peace to be still in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
13. We shut the mouth of every blood sucking demon over Nigeria in the name of Jesus. 
14. We fire back, every arrow of destruction, fired against Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
15. Every power that wants to make Nigeria to become a history on the surface of the earth, perish by fire in the name of Jesus.
16. Any power using witchcraft against Nigeria to cause war, die by fire in the name of Jesus.
17. Oh God arise and unleash your judgment on every evil counsel of the enemy over Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
18. Every power sponsoring famine and crisis in Nigeria, perish by fire in the name of Jesus.
19. We stand against every evil forces, sponsoring ethnic crises that may want to lead to war in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
20. Let every power behind the religious crisis in Nigeria die by fire in the name of Jesus.
21. You tribal crisis, that may want to lead to war in Nigeria, perish by fire in the name of Jesus.
22. We unseat by fire any man or woman that is in power that is not supposed to be there in the name of Jesus.
23.  Oh God arise and let the enemies of Nigeria, scatter by fire in the name of Jesus.
24. Every power, gathered to attack Nigeria, hear the words of the Lord, destroy yourself in the name of Jesus.
25. Lord Jesus, let peace and serenity reign in every nook and cranny of Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
26. Blood of Jesus, purify all the lands in Nigeria as we speak against war by the power in the name of Jesus.
27. I command every enemy of Nigeria to bow to the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
28. Every power hiding in the dark to cause war in Nigeria, lose your hold, and perish in the enemy in the name of Jesus.
29. Every enemy of progress of Nigeria, scatters by fire in the name of Jesus.
30. Every power presenting themselves as a good ambassador of Nigeria, whereas they are the greatest enemy of Nigeria, fall and die in the name of Jesus.
31. Every power, planning to disgrace Nigeria, loose your hold and die in the name of Jesus.
32. Every unrepentant man or woman, against the peace of Nigeria, perish by fire in the name of Jesus.
33. We unseat by fire, every man or woman in power or governance, initiating war in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
34. Every power troubling the peace of Nigeria, get out now and perish in the red sea in the name of Jesus.
35. By the anointing that breaks the yoke, let every long-term problem in Nigeria, die by fire in the name of Jesus.
36. We take and possess by force the peace of Nigeria by the power in the name of Jesus.
37. Nigeria will not enter destruction in the name of Jesus.
38. By the power in the name of Jesus we declare victory over every power causing violence in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
39. Oh God arise and let Your glory radiate over Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
40. Thank You Lord Jesus because war will not rise in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
