It’s a new year. A new year is a significant time and a time different from every other time. Don’t pay attention to spiritually ignorant claims making the rounds on social media that the first day of a new year isn’t different from every other day. As Exodus 12:2 shows, God Himself places high premium on a particular time in a year and on a new year. Times, seasons, days, and moments are important phenomena in the realm of the spirit. 

As such, it’s important to take advantage of those times and seasons through powerful prayers and serious spiritual investments. This is why a new year prayer is very important. This is why you must take this prayer for New Year 2021 seriously. 

 A new year is an opportunity for a new start. It’s an opportunity to re-strategize. It’s a sign of hope for greater things, bigger blessings, uncommon breakthroughs, fresh testimonies, divine turn around, and many more. 

The best ways to take control of a new year is to draw out a plan for a prayer for new year, make a decision to strengthen your walk with God, dedicate more time to the work of God and to matters of the spirit. 

On a mundane level, invest in the new year and take control of it by investing in your career; get professional certification,  study hard for your professional exams, you can decide to get a master’s degree or go for a short course. You can go to relevant conferences and seminars. For financial prosperity in a new year, invest your money in landed properties. You don’t need huge money to invest in landed properties. No matter how small the money is, it will be enough to acquire a land somewhere; you just have to search and never mind how far or undeveloped the area is. With time, your investment will yield fruits.  

You should also learn to save. Don’t spend unnecessarily just because you have the money. Save. Saving is another road to financial prosperity in a new year. No matter how small you think the money is, just save.

How To Be Successful In A New Year

• Make a commitment to walk with God and love Him with all your heart, might, and everything that matters to you. As Deuteronomy 11:1 says:  “You shall therefore love the Lord your God, and always keep His charge, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments.
• Build and maintain a life fiery prayer life.  As 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says: Pray without ceasing.
• Disassociate yourself from people who may wreck your destiny. Stay away from people who uncontrollably show their envy and jealousy when good things happen to you. Stay away from people who never give you good advice or support your good ambitions. Stay away from people who never have any good news or investment and progress opportunities to share with you, except gossip and slander. Stay away from people who don’t take their spiritual life seriously. Stay away from people who hide their own stories but share other people’s stories. Stay away from people who don’t have a healthy lifestyle. Stay away from people who always make you feel inferior. Stay away from people who never say anything good about your plans and dreams for the future. Remember the word of God in 1 Corinthians 15:33  Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
• Invest in yourself spiritually and physically. Pray more, Fast more, Devour the Word more, Listen to more sermons, Learn more Christian songs and Serve God. If you aren’t in any unit in your church, try to join a unit. If you are already in a unit, be diligent in that unit and you can even join one more unit if you have the time and capacity.

Improve your skills, talents or gifts by going for professional trainings, watching instructional YouTube videos, paying for relevant Webinars. Improve your emotional intelligence. Learn more about office politics. Read as many books as you can. Search for opportunities on the internet and take advantage of them. 

Watch what you eat and your health. Go for medical check-up. Do more exercise. Take medications when necessary and by all means, avoid self-medication.  

• Hone your taste for excellence and perfection. Have the right attitude to work. Commit to upholding professional ethics and standards in your business and place of work. Be diligent in everything you do. As 2 Peter 1:5 admonishes:

“Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge”

Prayer for New Year 2021

1. Heavenly father, I thank you for the grace and opportunity to see this new year. I know it’s not by my work of righteousness, but by your grace alone. I give you all the glory, honor, and adoration. Thank you Abbah Father for the opportunity to be alive in 2021. You alone is worthy to be praised and worshipped. 
2. You satanic powers that have vowed to make 2021 hard for me and my family, you are a liar. Die in the name of Jesus. I shall enjoy uncommon ease in 2021. 
3. Where is the God of Elijah? Arise and take me to the Promised Land this 2021. 
4. My Father, My Redeemer, let all the good things I lost in 2020 return to me in multiple folds in this new year in Jesus name. 
5. Powers in the coven of witches, planning to suck my blood this 2021, as I pray this prayer for New Year 2021, begin to burn to ashes in the name of Jesus. 
6. Failure and backwardness, sickness and sorrow, hunger and lack, disappointment and depression, poverty and begging, I am not your candidate this New Year 2021, in the name of Jesus. 
7. Every demonic documents where my name is written on the list of people that will suffer spiritual attacks this New Year 2021, in the name of Jesus, I command you to burn to ashes. 
8. Every demonic spirits working on the road to cause accident and drink people’s blood, me and my family are not your victim this year 2021, in the name of Jesus. 
9. In the name of Jesus, I will not go to any place the presence of the Lord will not follow me to. 
10. In the name of Jesus, this New Year 2021, any witchcraft gathering where my name is mentioned for evil and demonic attacks the thunder of Yahweh will strike and scatter such evil gathering.
11. In the name of Jesus, I receive the spirit of discernment. This new year, I will not make decisions that will ruin my life. I will not invest in a fraudulent business that will take away all my money and everything I have worked for. I will not make friendship with people who will destroy my destiny. 
12. You satanic power that causes disaster and failure to reoccur in people’s lives, I render you powerless over me, in the name of Jesus. 
13. O God my Father, arise in your mercy and shower me with rain of favor and progress in my family and business, in the name of Jesus. 
14. Powers from the pit of hell, assigned to cause spiritual lukewarmness in the life of Christians, I take authority over you in the name of Jesus. I command you to die by the fire of the Holy Ghost.
15. It’s written, the earth is of the Lord and the fullness thereof. I stand on the authority of the word of God and decree and declare that all my blessings trapped in all the corners of the earth be released today in the name of Jesus.
16. Powers assigned to make 2021 an unforgettable year of sorrow and disaster for me, I take authority over you. I command you to burn to ashes in the name of Jesus. 
17. In the name of Jesus, all the battles I fought in 2020 will not reoccur again in 2021. 
18. The God that answers by fire, rise up in your anger, burn away anything in my life that doesn’t reflect your grace and mercy in me. 
19. O God my Father, this 2021 must be a year that I will record blessings and peace that I have never experienced before. 
20. Whoever has determined to make me weep over my children in this 2021, O God my Father, arise in your anger and silence the person in the name of Jesus. 
21. In the name of Jesus, I command men and women from all corners of the earth to favor me. 
22. It’s written that the Lord giveth wisdom and out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. In the name of Jesus, in this New Year 2021, I receive the wisdom and knowledge of God for direction and decision-making in the name of Jesus. 
23. In the name of Jesus, the grace that causes a man to excel above his peers, fall upon me this year in the name of Jesus. 
24. In the name of Jesus, I reject any implications that will send me to prison. In this 2021, I shall not be a prisoner inmate. 
25. Who is that strong man from my father’s and mother’s houses that has vowed that I will not prosper this 2021 unless they die. In the name of Jesus, I command them to die right now in the name of Jesus. 
26. You ancestral powers that trouble me with affliction every new year, from this year on, you no longer have power and authority over me, in the name of Jesus. 
27. In the name of Jesus, I tap into the riches of my father in heaven, the recession and economic hardship in Nigeria will affect me this year. 
28. The anointing that singles men out for promotion and elevation, come upon me today and right now, in the name of Jesus. Work for me throughout this year in the name of Jesus. 
29. In the name of Jesus, I refuse to be a candidate of shame and reproach this 2021. 
30. In the name of Jesus, I take divine immunization against coronavirus and other deadly diseases and viruses. No plague shall come near my dwelling in the name of Jesus. 
31. As the Lord liveth, sudden death is not my portion. Genesis 15:15 is my portion. Job 5:26 is my portion. 
32. In the name of Jesus, I reverse every satanic pronouncement that has been made into my life, destiny, business, health, family, and glory. The pronouncements shall not stand, for no one can speak anything into existence when the Lord has not commanded it. 
33. In the name of Jesus, the sorrow and affliction that make a new year bitter for people will not come to my direction in the name of Jesus. 
34. In the name of Jesus, all the battles that the Mighty Man of War won for me in the past years will not resurrect this year. 
35. In the name of Jesus, I destroy every power set up to make me spend all my saving on medications and hospital bills. 
36. By the power in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that all the answers to my prayers that have been trapped in the heavenlies, be released this new year. 
37. I cover all my families (mention the name of all your family members) with the blood of Jesus. 
38. In the name of Jesus, you power that wants to make me stagnant in 2021, I put you in everlasting bondage. 
39. Decree and declare that the sword of Angel Michael cut to pieces every satanic hand that wants to scatter my business and finance this new year. 
40. In the name of Jesus, this prayer for New Year 2021 that I am praying will not be in vain. I shall get massive results and answers to all the prayers. 
41. My Father the Destiny Changer, give me breakthroughs that will shock people and force them to trace my history and background, in the name of Jesus. 
42. In the name of Jesus, I use this prayer for New Year 2021 as an installment for spiritual investments for the year. None of the prayers I pray shall be a waste. 
43. In the name of Jesus, I come against every power that wants my heavens to close. My heavens will not be closed in the name of Jesus. 
44. You angels assigned to direct and protect my blessings, don’t sleep or slumber get to work right now in the name of Jesus. 
45. In the name of Jesus, I take authority over every terrestrial and celestial powers that manipulate and redirect people’s destiny and blessings every new year. My destiny and blessings will not be redirected. 
46. Lord, stretch your mighty hand over every tough matter in my life that has made me to lose hope and faith. 
47. In the name of Jesus, I burn to ashes all satanic garments of hate that are preventing me from getting help and meeting mighty people who will help my destiny. In this new year, I will meet all my helpers of destiny.
48. In the name of Jesus, I destroy every witchcraft power that wants to use sickness and infirmity to punish and torment me this new year. 
49. In the name of Jesus, I will not weep over my husband/ wife. 
50. In the name of Jesus, my wife/my husband will not weep over me. 
51. Lord I glorify your holy name. I thank you because I know this prayer for New Year 2021 that I prayed, has reached the Throne of Grace and has attracted your mercy and reply. Thank you, Abbah Father. Thank you Ancient of Day. Hallelujah
