What is The New Year?

The new year is the period which ends an old year and opens the gate to another year.

The new year is a fresh period for another beginning.

The new year is the period when we can replan ourselves better so we can achieve something great for the starting year ahead.

As children of God we should know that we live in a spiritual world where the spiritual controls the physical. Everything that we see happening in the physical has earlier been orchestrated and finished in the spirit realm and the devil knows fully well the power and importance of the spirit realm in a man’s life. The devil therefore always attacks the children of God in the new year with evil arrows to stop them, delay their progress and make them lose focus of their Christian journey or sometimes to disturb their faith in God.

This is clearly showing the importance and power of praying the prayer to cross over to the new year.

The prayer to cross over cannot be underestimated because it is through this prayer we get our victory from negative events projected against us through evil arrows. The prayer to cross over to the new year is a prayer we should always pray every day of our lives because it is clearly proven to us that there are Invisible powers and forces operating in the world against the new year plans and they are always at war with us as children of God. Apostle Paul knew very well the operations of the Invisible forces and barriers and hence he keeps admonishing us as Christian to always be on guard and praying.

1. Powerful Prayer: Prayer is a very important and powerful tool in fighting and waging war against the devil in any way. Hence we must always ensure that we pray and to show our great commitment and desire then it’s necessary to add fasting to our prayers.

Acts 1:14 “They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers”

2. Believing Faith: We must know that before anything can be given to us from God, then our string and healthy faith is required. It is only by our faith we can get quick and prompt answers to our prayers.

Matthew 21:22 “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

3. Commitment: As Christians we must be committed and consume ourselves with the service of God so the devil will not have access to us in any way. It is only if we are idle then we can serve as the devil’s workshop hence when we are occupied with the things of God then the devil cannot gain access into our lives.
4. Serving God: Stewardship to God is a very important aspect and a very powerful way in fighting and winning the war against all foes of the enemy including Marine spirit and Witchcraft. When we serve God, then we are automatically abiding under the power and protection of God.
5. Planning: As Christians, we mist always construct good plans for our lives in the new year, so that we can achieve our goals and our life can be productive and produce a better result.

1. My Father, I thank you for the gift of life for me and my family to witness today as a living being.
