Introduction

We will be looking at prayers against having bad dreams during pregnancy. Bad dreams during pregnancy signifies that the devil is at work to deny you the joy of being a mother. The devil doesn’t like seeing God children fulfilling destiny on earth. Bad dreams during pregnancy means the devil doesn’t want the child to be born, most especially if the child has a great destiny. 

When the agents of darkness sense that a pregnancy will bring forth a child with great destiny or one that will torment their evil works, they want to stop the child before he comes to the world. Sometimes, they use these bad dreams to punish the pregnant woman for offending them. They manipulate her in the dream and make her see all manner of scary things like losing the baby, eating in the midst of witches, seeing her child in the midst of children under the captivity of the wicked one. The devil is very tricky in this and can do even worse.

The works of darkness shouldn’t scare us if we know our place in Christ. We need to believe in the God who has promised to preserve and keep us alive, even the unborn child. Don’t be afraid when you dream about death during childbirth, or complications during delivery. They are all the evil manipulative work of the devil and his agents. Always remember that as a redeemed, God is for you and if God be for you, who can be against you, not even the devil and his agents who roar like a lion seeking whom to devour. They can’t devour you and your unborn child because you are not their meat.

God will never deliver you into the hands of the enemy. Therefore, believe that you and your unborn child are safe in the hollow of his hands. The same way God shielded Mary from the evil plot against Jesus Christ, her unborn child. So God will shield and protect you and the pregnancy from the evil plot of the devil and his agents. You shall give birth safely and without stress and pain, just like the Hebrew women. The sound of a new born child will be heard in your home and you shall live to bring that child up. Despite all odds, Jesus didn’t die in her mother’s womb and lived to fulfil destiny and her mother was alive to witness it. In like manner, despite the bad dreams, you shall give birth safely, the child shall fulfil destiny and you shall live to see it. 

When you begin to see unusual things in your dream during pregnancy, it’s a call for you to also be very close to God and fervent in prayer. Stay connected to God all through your pregnancy and be fervent in prayer. Prayer of faith will always dislodge the devil and all his plans in your life. When you call on God in prayer, he comes and consumes every work of the devil.
