30 Prayers Against The Spirit Of Gambling

Luke 12:15 “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” The Bible contains many words of encouragement, but it also contains warnings and reminders to live our life in a way which is pleasing to God.

First let’s check, what is Gambling? Gambling is the act of playing games of chance for money but more than the definition of gambling, an important factor that really needs to be considered and addressed, is the motive behind gambling.

Without a doubt, the motive behind gambling is to make “money and more money”, and looking deeply into the act of gambling, you will agree that the root cause of gambling is the love of “money” and scripture says in 1 Timothy 6:10- 

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”

Also, it is a known fact that gambling can be highly destructive for those who are addicted to it, it is capable of rendering a rich person, homeless and broke as scripture states in 1 Timothy 6:9 “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition”.

This is why you really need to pray against the spirit of gambling, especially if you have realized that you are addicted to it, definitely, it is now beyond your control, therefore you need to cry out for God’s intervention and deliverance upon your life.

1. Oh Lord I thank you for the revelation given to me by your word, blessed be your name in Jesus Mighty name.
2. Father I thank you for your mercies that has kept me alive, thank you for been faithful even In my unfaithfulness, all glory to you Lord
3. Father, I ask for your mercy. In every way , I have turned deaf eyes to the leading of the Holy spirit. Please forgive me and let your mercy speak for me, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
4. Father I ask that you shine your light upon my life, and by your mercy, please deliver me from the spirit of gambling, In the mighty name of Jesus Christ
5. Oh Lord, I recognize that by my own strengths I cannot prevail, therefore, I ask that you help me to flee from the temptation of gambling in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
6. Oh Lord please forgive me for all the resources you gave me that I have squandered in no time, please forgive me for waste, and please restore me.
7. Father please help me to build my relationship with you so that I may love you more than anything in this world.
8. Father helps me to overcome the list of the eyes and every evil desire to please men that frequently makes me gamble, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
9. Oh Lord I ask that you separate me by your power from every evil friend that keeps luring me into gambling, let there be total separation between us now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
10. Father by your power please deliver from the evil spirit of gambling, make me a free man, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
11. Every evil spirit assigned to make me spend my investment on gambling, I cast you out of my life, by the blood of Jesus Christ.
12. I decree that I shall no longer serve money, rather I shall serve my God, in the mighty name of Jesus
13. Money shall not separate me from the love of Christ, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
14. I frustrate every counsel of the enemy to make me lose my destiny though gambling in the mighty name  Jesus Christ

17. Every arrangement from the pit of hell, done for me to let go of my God-given purpose in life, I come against them by the blood of Jesus Christ
18. Every sickness that I have invited into my own body through gambling and fore casting, I reject it now by the blood of Jesus Christ
19. Every form of anxiety that has become a usual part of my day, I reject you now by the blood of Jesus Christ
20. Every monitoring spirit assigned to check upon me every day, I command you to get out of my life, in Jesus mighty name
21. I frustrate every state of  unbelief that is making me doubt God, I come out of that state by fire, I shall trust in God continually, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
22. I receive grace to trust in you oh Lord when the situation becomes more tough in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
23. I decree that I have more than enough because my God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, far above what we ask or think, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
24. I frustrate the powers of hell plotting my downfall through gambling in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
25. I decree that henceforth, I shall die daily to the flesh that I may live to  the glory of God ,in the mighty name Of Jesus
26. Father I receive a deep longing for your word, please help me to thirst for your word daily, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
27. Father I ask for your grace to remain faithful till the end, I shall not fall by the way side, in the mighty name of Jesus 
28. I decree that In this season, good news shall come back to back for me, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
29. Father I am grateful for your mercies and thank you for grace to pray always, in Jesus mighty Name.
