Build your character (Proverbs 22:1); it is important that you maintain a good character, you never know who God wants to use to bring you  answers to your prayers, your scholarship may not come from someone far, it may come from the connection of someone close, so you must maintain a good character so you can be easily recommended for scholarship.
3. Pray until something happens (Luke 18:1-8): The story in Luke 18 about the judge and the widow teaches us persistence, in order to see your prayers manifest, you must be determined to keep praying until God answers you.
4. Be Curious, Gather As Much Information As Possible (Hosea 4) : Someone once said, information is life, you need to stay abreast of things happening in the academic sector, so as to make maximum use of opportunities when they appear, so ensure you make enough godly and reasonable connections both online and offline, not just to gist but so as to gain information on available opportunities at the right time.
5. Conquer fear and every feeling of inadequacy (Isaiah 8:12): Fear has deprived many of accessing their blessings, just as in the case of the Israelites in Numbers 13. Many are still where they are, because they were afraid of taking risks at a particular season of their lives.
