It’s a new year, a time to set goals, make new year resolutions, change habits and lifestyle and to make new plans for the achievement of one’s purpose and dreams.

The new year is filled with several opportunities, challenges, storms and success stories. Many will be uplifted this year and many will be demoted, many new homes will be made and several will fall apart, in the same way, many will be born while some may lose their lives.

Indeed a new year is a great deal.

Are you anxious and worried about the new year and it’s uncertainties already? Are you wondering if the year has any good for you at all, going by the way it started?

Truly the bible says in Ephesians 5:16b that the days are full of evil but do not forget to read the A part which says redeeming the times.

To Redeem means to gain or regain a possession or something of value.

So how do you redeem the times, is it by worrying?  by meditating on negative prophecies or by complaining about the events of the past year? Of course not!

To redeem the days, you need to pray fervently and command the year to bring forth goodness, joy, peace, all round rest to you and your family.

To redeem the days, you must consciously take charge of events even before they occur, for example praying in the night and commanding the new day to turn out in your favor, even before the breaking of the new day.

Redeeming the days means that you are not a careless Christian who is just a spectator of events in his/her life, but a Christian who is a creator and controller of events.

So how can you become a controller of the events in this year? It is by commanding the year. This is why we are sharing with you 40 MFM prayers to command the year.

1. Father, I thank you for your unfailing grace upon my life and family.

2. Thank you for preserving us despite all that has happened from last year, all glory be to you Lord.

3. Father I’m grateful for your mercy that kept us alive and well despite the evils that the enemies intended, you alone deserve all our praise in Jesus name.

4. Lord, I ask for your mercy in every way I and my family have sinned and fallen short of your glory in our action, please forgive us and show us your mercy in Jesus name.

5. Father we ask that this year, your presence shall go with us wherever we go in Jesus name.

6. We destroy all demonic plans for us this year, in Jesus’ mighty name.

7. This year I decree that our blessings shall not be hindered, they shall come to us speedily in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

8. I frustrate every plan of witchcraft altars against my family this year, it shall not stand, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

9. Every promotion that the Lord has programmed for me this year shall locate me speedily in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

10. This year I shall not have reasons to weep nor mourn in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

11. Instead of the evils the enemy has planned for my family this year, the shout of joy shall not cease from our dwellings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

12. I command everything in this year to work in my favor, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

13. This year shall bring good news from far and near to my family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

14. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I receive double blessings for all the shame I faced last year in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

15. I receive a new set of destiny helpers that will help me accomplish my purpose this year in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

16. I decree that this year all my long time dreams and aspirations shall be established in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

23. I receive the ministry and intervention of angels from Jehovah Sabaoth over me and my family, in Jesus name.

24. Every enemy that shall rise against us this year shall fall and die in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
25. This year I decree that every weapon formed against us shall not prosper in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

26. Every contender against our destiny, the Lord contend against you all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

27. Every enemy fighting hard against my family shall be fed with their own flesh and they shall be drunken with their own blood in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

28. This year shall be for me, a year of greatness, wonders and next level in all areas of my life in Jesus name .

29. This year shall bring forth great  financial blessings and good news in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

30. Father, please wipe away the tears of my family members, and help us all to rejoice in this season in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
