The wish of God for all His children is to be successful in their endeavours including examination. As children of God we are expected to bring everything to our heavenly Father in prayer so he can oversee their success. 

Psalms 90:17 “And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful”

As students we are also expected to come to God in prayer whenever we are to sit for any exam, hence this shows the importance of prayer points of success for our examination. Many things might want to disturb us during our Jamb exam for example anxiety, nervousness, fear etc when we come to God in prayer concerning the examination and we place everything into His hands, then God will surely and definitely see to it that we come out in flying colours. As students we must know that the success of our examination and every other examination is only made possible by God and through Him. We must know that our efforts only cannot do it, so we should not relent on our efforts only but rather the hands of God in anything makes the project successful.

Things To Do Before Examination.

1. Read: As students we should discipline ourself to study diligently to be able to pass our Examination. No student can pass without reading, as student we are expected to do our part before God can play His part and as students what we are expected to do as our part and role is to diligently study.
2. Deal with Fear: A student must deal with the issue of nervousness and anxiety before examination, these are the things that can hinder the success of a student in exams. As a student you must believe in God that He has given and bestowed upon you the ability, power and grace needed to pass your exams.

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”

3. Pray: This is very important in any exam a student wants to partake in. It is only by God we are successful in our examinations and not by your efforts only, so students do not rely on your efforts only to pass the exam. Pray to God and He will give you success in your examinations.

Matthew 21:22 “You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
