PRAYERS TO RESTORE BROKEN RELATIONSHIP
Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds.
Are you aware that God can heal your broken relationship through prayers? Of course Yes!.
Certain relationships make our lives beautiful and enjoyable, some relationships even bring out the best in us and helps us to feel blessed and achieved but sometimes it all just ends in tears for one reason or the other and the relationship one thought would be for a lifetime becomes a thing of the past just like that.
Although fixing relationship issues can take a long time, sometimes it can even take years, but never underestimate the power of prayers. The Word of God says in the book of Jeremiah 29:12 “Then thou shalt call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you ”
Therefore there’s an assurance that when we pray and ask God for restoration, He will hearken unto us and restore every good thing we have lost.
In case you are unhappy and worried about the turn out of your relationship with the other person, the Word of God says to you in:
Isaiah 61:10 “For your shame, you shall have double, for confusion, you shall rejoice in your portion, therefore in thy land shall thou possess the double, everlasting joy shall be your portion”
Also, as you pray this day and let go of the hurts and pain you incurred from your last relationship, the Lord will restore to you all you have lost just as HE did in the life of Job in:
Job 42:10 And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

PRAYERS TO RESTORE BROKEN RELATIONSHIP
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord Is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”
- PRAY THIS IF YOU FEEL YOUR HEART HAS BEEN BROKEN
Lord I thank you because you are a great healer, your word has been sent to me to heal all my ailments. I confess that I am presently suffering from a broken heart, due to the relationship break up I had with my friend. Please heal me oh Lord.
I have invested my time and my valuables into his relationship thinking that it would last forever but I was betrayed by my friend and I am left hurting and heart broken. I cry every other day because of the pain in my heart, Oh Lord please heal me and save me from pain in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
2. SAY THIS PRAYER IF YOUR HEART IS SAD
Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
Oh Lord, please help me to get rid of the pain I feel presently, help me not to hold any grudge against the person who hurt me Lord. I receive an unusual grace to put off this sad face and to wear a smile with the assurance that you will heal my heart completely.
I receive grace not to keep remembering the hurts that my friend has brought to my heart but to totally forgive him and truly wish him well in all his ways.
As you forgave all my sins and you love me unconditionally, father I also forgive this my friend in your holy name, Amen
3. IF YOU HAVE ANY IOTA OF HATRED IN YOUR HEART, PRAY:
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins
Father, I am grateful for your Word that you have provided for me to be guided every day in order to work in your will in every circumstance of life. Lord please help us to be far from strife in this broken relationship, help us to still love each other. Your own kind of love is unconditional, helping us also to love each other whether or not we will end up with each other.
I pray that the love we once had for each other will keep us from judging each other or looking down on each other. Father please take away any form of hatred we both have in our hearts towards each other. Rather than hurting everyday, please give us the grace to heal and grow in you oh Lord.
4. PRAY THIS PRAYER IF YOU HAVE BEEN BETRAYED:
Psalm 55:12-14 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him, But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide and my acquaintance, we took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company
Lord I have been betrayed by my friend, although I trusted him so much but he ended up betraying me in a way I have never imagined. Through the time we spent together, I was very open and honest with him/her, I shared with her important thoughts and plans that I had because I trusted her so much, but then he/she went behind me to say and do hurtful things against me. Please take away this heavy burden on my heart by healing me oh Lord, please restore joy to My heart and help me to settle with my friend as he realizes the pain he caused me. Please restore our relationship and make us good friends again in Jesus Name Amen.
5. PRAY THIS PRAYER IF YOU ARE FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO SAY KIND WORDS ABOUT A FRIEND
Proverbs 16:24 Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
Oh Lord sincerely, I have nothing kind to say about this my friend because the pain he/she has caused is so much, in fact Lord I am more tempted to say bad things about this person and expose what he/she has done.
Please forgive me Lord because I know you are not happy with this, I know your desire and command for me is to be at peace with everyone, your desire for me is to love even my enemies and to do good to those who hate me. So help me Oh Lord to always say good things about all my friends that have hurt me in the past. Help me to always bridle my tongue and to always be in control of my emotions so that I don’t utter bad words about my friends in public or when I’m alone in Jesus Name. Amen
6. PRAY THIS PRAYER IF YOUR MIND IS FILLED WITH THOUGHTS OF RETALIATION
Romans 1:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine: I will repay saith the LORD
Oh Lord, I acknowledge that my mind has been filled with thoughts of how I can retaliate what my friend has done to me. I ask for mercy, Lord, please forgive me and let my heart be filled with thoughts of good henceforth. Help me to be patient enough to hear my friend out so as to know why he/she caused me so much hurt.
Help me not to be too quick to judge them anymore, rather help me to forgive and let go totally just as Christ forgives. I receive to have control over my own spirit so as not to do things out of your will in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
7. PRAY THIS PRAYER TO AFFIRM YOUR TRUST IN GOD
Proverbs 3:6 And they that know thy name will put their TRUST in you, for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Oh Lord I thank you for grace to trust in you, I believe totally that your thoughts for me are of good and not of evil, therefore all that is happening now are going to work together in my favor, God I thank you because my tomorrow is totally secured in you.
I may not be able to explain the reasons why I am having serious challenges in my relationship but I know that you are mindful of me and I know you will not leave me to suffer shame and reproach. I declare that I trust in you totally Lord, please make ways for me where there seems to be no way, it shall all end up in praise in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
