Exodus 15:26
He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

INTRODUCTION:

Sometimes, some of our loved ones or even us are faced with one illness or the other which could be life threatening at times, this is where interceding for one another comes in. God’s plan for us is to live in health just as we read in our anchor texts. Therefore, in our topic for today we will be interceding for the sick.
The devil is the author and originator of sicknesses and diseases.

Sickness came into existence as a result of sin, when Adam and Eve fell in the garden of Eden, God laid curses on man and on every creeping thing thereby, bringing sicknesses and diseases to man. Despite this, God is a healer, the book of Exodus 15:26B says’ I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

God promised us that if we call on Him, He will hear us and deliver us from all our troubles. Sicknesses and diseases can drain one, physically, emotionally and financially that is why prayers are needed to cancel every sickness. Health is wealth is a common but true saying. It is only when you are healthy and strong that one can think of achieving a set goal, getting married, having children, buying cars and properties or doing anything relevant in life. Anything that takes one’s healthy state has taken away one’s peace and mental stability.

Interceding for sick people or loved ones around us or even far away from us is the best thing we can do asides showing physical show of love and care. It is certain that a sick person may be weak physically or spiritually thereby, we can strengthen their faith physically and spiritually by praying for them.

1. Father we thank you, because you have given us the authority to overcome every sickness and diseases in the name of Jesus.
2. We thank you Lord Jesus because, all power has been given unto You and You are the God that heals in Jesus name.
3. Let the whirlwind of God scatter every power of infirmity and disease fashioned against you in the name of Jesus.
4. By the stripes of Jesus Christ, I declare you are healed in Jesus’ name.
5. Let every sickness that flowed into your life as a result of generational sin be cleansed by the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
6. I command your healing to be instant and permanent in the name of Jesus.
7. Every environmental factor that has brought sicknesses and diseases into your life, be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.
8. O God my father let your angels perform miracles in every area of your body that needs healing in the name of Jesus.
9. I command you to be free from every symptom of infirmities in the name of Jesus.
10. Every curse of sicknesses and diseases placed upon you, vanish by the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
11. Lord Jesus let your angels perform the surgical operations that are needed for the perfection of the healing in the name of Jesus.
12. Oh Lord my father disgrace and disappoint every plan of the enemy to make you remain in sickness in Jesus’ name.
13. Every arrow of terminal diseases and untimely death fired against you, backfire in the name of Jesus.
14. I command your body to reject every arrow of weakness fired against your body in the name of Jesus.
15. I declare that your body will respond to all the treatments given to you in the name of Jesus.
16. Every evil deposit in your body, that is causing sickness and diseases in your body, burn to ashes in the name of Jesus.
17. I sanctify every caregiver that is going to be taking care of you with the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
18. I decree in the name of Jesus that all medications that will be administered to you, will not be by error in the name of Jesus.
19. Let every desire and expectation of the enemy over your health come to naught in the name of Jesus.
20. Lord Jesus stretch forth your healing hands over every sick person and make them whole completely in the name of Jesus.
21. Let every form of discomfort be flushed out by the precious blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
22. I decree speedy recovery over your health and affliction shall not raise again in your life in the name of Jesus.
23. Any arrow of infirmity fired against you, in the dream that is now manifesting physically and deteriorating your health be destroyed by the fire of Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.
24. I command every disease and sickness relating to genetics reoccurring in your life, to dry up by fire in the name of Jesus.
25. I declare in the name of Jesus that this sickness is not unto death, but you will live to praise the name of the Lord in Jesus name.
26. I command every sickness and disease in your body to bow to the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
27. I command the healing virtue of Jesus Christ to locate you and experience the peace of God more than before in your health in the name of Jesus.
28. I declare in the name of Jesus, that the Lord will grant you good health that we may testify and glorify God in the name of Jesus.
29. I decree in the name of Jesus that the breadth of Jesus breath upon you and cast out from the root every sickness in the name of Jesus.
30. Lord Jesus, I thank You because, I believe affliction will not rise again in your life in the name of Jesus.
