Know that sickness and diseases is an affliction of the devil against the children of God, The devil is behind every form of sickness and diseases because is agenda is to make the children of God suffer sickness and disease and one of its instrument or ways he uses to do this is to plague the children of God with infirmities.

Think about it is sickness even in the plan of God during creation? the answer is know, if you go back to the garden of Eden where Adam and eve were resident, if you read the book of Genesis you would understand that they lived in the garden where there was no record of sin there but immediately they sinned against God the devil started afflicting them.

So with the example of Adam and eve who were the first human creation by God, sickness and disease was not existing but immediately they sinned sickness crept into their life, this shows us that the principle cause of sickness and disease is sin. We need to understand that sickness and disease is not just a slogan it is very real but we have an assurance in God because he as created the balm in Gilead to give us victory over the siege of sickness and diseases.

From the book of Jeremiah 8:19 God has created avenue for us to recover back our health, from that scripture we can see that God is the  physician and also a balm to heal all our afflictions, you may want to ask that who is the physician and what is the balm that heals us from sickness, the answers is Jesus who is the physician that heals while is word serves as the balm that also heals.

Lets look at some of the kind of sickness and disease recognized from scriptures.

Boils and Sores in the body, the book of Exodus 9:9 affirm this, there was a story in the bible when God sends affliction into the land of Egypt he afflicted them with boils that affected both human and even the animals were not spared, this case shows us that  boil is a kind of affliction that can be inflicted on a man. But we have the assurance that we would be spared from the boils because we are children of God.

Deaf and Dumb this is another kind of sickness and disease recognized in the bible the book of mark 9: 25 also confirm this statement that the devil afflict people with deaf and dumb, but thank God for Jesus who has the power to rebuke the spirit out of his people.

Epilepsy and Seizure the book of Matthew 4:24, Matthew 17:14-15 the two scriptures validates this statement it shows where Jesus cast out demons out of those that were possessed.

Fever this is another kind of sickness and disease recognized in the bible mark 1: 30 shows where the mother in law of peter who was afflicted with fever but was healed by Jesus.

Leprosy and Lameness this is also another form of sickness and disease the bible recognized the book of Leviticus 21:18 , Matthew 15:31, Leviticus 13:2

Deuteronomy 7:15

And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all [them] that hate thee.

Psalms 103:3

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

Mark 1:34

And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Luke 4:40

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed.

Deliverance Prayers Against Sickness And Diseases

1. Powers that wants to terminate my life through sickness or disease, I am not your candidate, go back to the sender, in the name of Jesus.
2. I nullify every long term sickness and infirmity in my body, in the name of Jesus 

3.Any power on assignment to steal my health, receive frustration, in the name of Jesus. 

4. By fire, by force, I am healed, in the name of Jesus. 
5. I fire back every arrow of sickness flowing in my blood stream, in the name of Jesus. 
6. I reject sickness and its manipulation in my life, in Jesus name.
7.  Any sickness or disease that want to bring separation between me and God, I cast you out, in the name of Jesus.

8. You sickness, disease………(Call the names), you have no power over me, so therefore, be destroyed in the name of Jesus. 
9. Any power that says no drugs or medication shall restore my health, dry up by fire, in the name of Jesus. 
10. Lord, deliver me from any kinds of strange disease or infection, in the name of Jesus. 
11. My health, hear the word of the Lord, be restored back in the name of Jesus. 
12. I challenge my body with the healing fire of God, in the name of Jesus

29. Any power assigned to be troubling my health, destroyed yourself, in the name of Jesus. 
30. I shall not used my mouth to speak sickness into my life. I speak life unto myself, and I speak destruction unto all my enemies and all their weapons against me, in the name of Jesus.
