Spiritual attack is the use of demonic powers by the devil and his cohorts in order to perpetuate evil against  targeted persons and families. Oftentimes, these attacks are done against the victim’s physical, emotional, or even spiritual well being.

These satanic attacks most times result in panic attacks, diseases, depression, deep suicidal thoughts, lack of interest in the things of God, temptation, etc.

You may be wondering now, ‘how can a believer become vulnerable to spiritual attack’?

1. A believer can be vulnerable to spiritual attacks if he or she is still playing with sin (Ecclesiastes 21:2)
2. A believer can also be open to attack if he or she is ignorant of the promises of God Hosea 4:6
3. A believer can be accessible to demonic attack when he or she refuses sound spiritual counsel Proverbs 11:14
4. A believer can be vulnerable to attack if he or she refuses to trust in God, and rather seeks help from the devil. Exodus 23:25
5. A believer can be open to attack if he or she is not spiritually sensitive and discerning. 1 John 4:1

In order to avoid spiritual attacks as believers, we must consider all points stated above and make amendments where necessary.
