Previously, we talked about Hindering Spirits in one of our articles. In this article, we will talk about another satanic device similar to Hindering Spirits: stumbling blocks.

Stumbling blocks are satanic devices for hindrances. Stumbling blocks limits people’s progress. It causes stagnancy, delay in manifestation of destiny, loss of glory, and many other unfortunate things. 

Stumbling blocks can be used by Hindering Spirits, because while Hindering Spirits are principalities in the spiritual realm, stumbling blocks are just events. They are occurrences that, though not principalities, they can do the damage that principalities do. Stumbling blocks may appear in the form of a bad character, an uncouth talk, laziness, poor work ethics, etc. 

A man or woman who has chronic bad characters may find it difficult to make progress in life because the bad characters may make him/her lose great opportunities and helpers of destiny. Many people have lost great opportunities or lose their connection to big, successful people because of their dirty characters. Whether people who have a bad character know it or not, the bad character is a stumbling block for them so long as it steals their blessings, makes them lose a vital connection or a great opportunity that would have catapulted them to the next level. 

Someone who doesn’t know how to guard and discipline his/her mouth already has a stumbling block in his life because his disrespectful words and insults will make him/her lose blessings and helpers. Similarly, a lazy person or someone who has a bad work ethic will lose blessings and many good things because those negative attributes will prevent progress and thus, they are stumbling blocks. 

Simply put, stumbling blocks are mostly some negative lifestyle or character in our life that the enemy uses to delay or deny us of progress in life, or to push us backwards. 

Check Yourself

Sometimes, what we need to solve some problems in our life is not prayers. Sometimes we just need to change our attitudes and lifestyles and all will be well with us. It’s not all problems that are caused by Village People. But some problems are introduced into our lives by Village People through our own attitudes and lifestyles. Sometimes, Satan and his human agents use what is in us to get to us. 

Do the rich and successful people you know suddenly stop speaking with you or cut you off completely? Check yourself. Do men promise to marry you and then suddenly dump you for no seemingly no reason? Does your boss in the office who used to be nice and cordial with you suddenly hate you? Check yourself. Did the parents of all the men who promised to marry you reject you the very first time they met you? Check yourself. 

Always check yourself first. Check yourself and do serious self-questioning before diverting to the spiritual. If you checked yourself and you see no character or attitudinal fault lines, that explains why there are stumbling blocks on your way or in your life, and then you can pray fervently and tirelessly. If you are sure the problem is spiritual you can then pray these prayers to remove stumbling blocks. I believe the power of resurrection will roll away the blocks.
