INTRODUCTION:

Birthday is a significant day in every human life, it is the day that one is born into the world, most people love to celebrate the day to thank God for giving them another chance to see and celebrate another year on earth. Sadly, birthdays can turn to be another mourning day for some due to a sad event that happened on their birthday, therefore, in our article today, we will be praying 40 prayer points for birthdays.

The bible says’ God daily loads us with benefit, in Psalm 68:19 this means that every day of our lives there is a benefit for us in each new day which our birthday date is not an exemption. I know of a colleague of mine that died on his birthday, that is, he died the same day he was born, it was obvious his death was not natural nor normal because of the incident that was attached to his death. The enemy is always looking for a way to block one’s joy and make one renounce his or identity with Christ, therefore praying for one’s birthday and the year to come must not be something to negotiate with.

Prayers are needed for one’s birthday, to thank God for the grace given to be alive for that very moment, also to secure the coming new year. However, as bad things happen on one’s birthdays, good things also happen on one’s birthday, no one prays or loves bad things to happen on his or her birthday, therefore, we will be praying for good things to happen and avert any negative or bad event.

1. I thank You Lord for giving me another opportunity to be in good health and sound mind in the land of the living in the name of Jesus.
2. Thank You Jesus for the grace to witness another new year that You Lord has given unto me in the name of Jesus.
3. I confess every sin, known or unknown to me in the name of Jesus.
4. I ask in the name of Jesus, that my sin will not hinder my prayers from being answered today in the name of Jesus.
5. I ask that the breadth of life of Jesus, breathe on me this new year in the name of Jesus.
6. Let men and women, old and young compete to favor me today in the name of Jesus.
7. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus and fire of the Holy Ghost this new year in the name of Jesus.

36. I decree in the name of Jesus that my life will be a role model to the world at large in the name of Jesus.
37. I will live to see my children’s children in the name of Jesus.
38. I will not spend my days in poverty, pain, anxiety, and depression in the name of Jesus.
39. Lord Jesus, help me to walk in Your wills and in Your ways all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
