Introduction

The word of God tells in Leviticus 6:12-13, “And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offering

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” This verse explains the whole essence of a revival in the life of a believer, a church and a nation at large. It is a time to call upon God to pour out his spirit like never before and in new ways and dimensions, coupled with diversities of gift upon believers, ministries and nations.

When spiritual revival takes place, we see believers refreshed, wisdom, knowledge and understanding is released in greater dimensions upon men for greater impact globally, the word of God is thought with greater revelation and the devil is stampeded with his agent in greater wisdom. It brings about the prophecies in the life of a believer, ministry or nation and also ensures that they are kept in the right path for its fulfillment. So many believers in ministries and nations have seen the great impact of spiritual revival in their lives.

The church of Christ today needs greater flow of the spirit upon it to be able to stand against the plan and purpose of hell this end time. That will only be received through a great revival. The church needs to use spiritual revival to deliver the souls that are held captive by the devil and his agent from the brink of hell. Spiritual revival is needed by the church to rescue and deliver all those who are ordained for salvation upon the earth. The church needs spiritual revival to stand against the gate of hell and prevail over it. The church indeed needs spiritual revival like never before.

Spiritual revival brings about the great gifts of the spirit, we saw the kind of boldness that took over Peter and Stephen after they encountered revival of the spirit, it brings about boldness, wisdom for great exploit, knowledge and understanding. It brings about revolution in all spheres of life and endeavour, including spiritual revolutions.
