35 PRAYER FOR REVIVAL FIRE IN THE CHURCH
Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
From our anchor text it gives us a good explanation of what our topic means revival fire in the church, we can simply say that is a period of power in the church when the church begins to experience the visitation of the holy spirit and its diverse manifestation. As matter of fact the church as already entered into its revival fire season with the several happenings in the church, there are more healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in the body of Christ the kind we have never seen before, Devils are being cast out at the instance of the power of God through the burning of the revival fire in the church.
Not only the church needs revival fire, every Christian as long as you are a believer need to have the fire of God burning on the inside, every church needs revival for them to fulfill the call of God on their life. For us to see deliverance, healing, casting out of demons, growth in the church, conviction of souls and salvation in the church, the church needs to have the revival fire burning in it.
What Then Is Revival Fire?
Revival fire in the church is when the zeal of God is stir up afresh in the church, that is when the passion and zeal for the things of God becomes hot for God and the purpose of its kingdom, it is also when the soul purpose of ministry is towards the things of God and not of the world. For the church of Christ to have the revival fire burning in it, it has to do away with worldly affinity and start to pursue solely after the things of heaven.
Reason Why The Church Needs Revival Fire:
- For God to raise his own army, we need to have more godly people in the body of Christ than we have had in the past. Sin is creeping into the church with so many atrocities being committed in the church that is why with the revival fire in the church an army of righteous sons and daughters of God will be raised to quench the flame of unrighteousness in the body of Christ.
- Another reason why we need the revival fire in the church is for the spread of the gospel of Christ to the whole world.
- For the salvation of souls when the revival fire is burning in the church it will lead to conviction of souls thereby resulting in the multitude accepting Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour.
- For signs and wonders another reason is for signs and wonders in the church of Christ when the revival fire is burning in the church there would be an eruption of your signs and wonders.
- To cast out demons, we have so many afflicted individuals in the church and it can only take the revival fire in the church to be able to cast out demons from people.
- For healing and deliverance in the church, the holy ghost moves about healing the sick and setting the oppressed free.
- It brings about the growth and expansion of the church of Christ, when the revival fire is burning the church will experience growth and expansion Act 6:33

- You powers in the heavenlies ganging up to swallow the prayers of the church, we take authority over you today. We command you to become powerless in the name of Jesus.
- We bind and burn every spirit causing Christians to be lukewarm and weak in the spirit. In the name of Jesus
- I release the wisdom of God upon church ministers and leaders. I decree and declare that they understand the time and seasons and take advantage of it for the revival of fire, in the name of Jesus.
- I pray that when the fire of revival comes, I will partake in the blessings and manifestations, in Jesus name
