50 Prayer Points To Cancel Bad Dreams

Introduction

Today, we are looking at prayer points to cancel bad dreams. Dreams are the things that take place in the spiritual, which we are privileged to see in our sleep. Dreams can be good and sweet most times, it can also be horrible and disturbing at other times.

The Bible records in many instances how God spoke to His children through dreams and other means, He passed messages and instructions and showed them things to come. The devil also being the mastery of imitation and fakery also uses dreams to attack the children of God. The devil and his agents use all manner of things to scare and put fear into their victims in order to make them believe that what they saw in the dream will come to pass. In Psalm 19:1-2, it says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth thee knowledge” and in 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind” God knowing fully well that the devil is a master of mimicry has made adequate provision for us to able to differentiate when he is speaking to us in the dream and  when the devil and his agents appear in the dream to harm us. That is why the night sheweth knowledge and we have the sound mind of Christ to discern our dreams.

The word of God says that when we sleep, we shall lie down in peace and our sleep shall be sweet, so whatever we encounter in our sleep that is unpleasant and makes us uncomfortable is not of God. When we dream of a bad and evil dream in the night or even during the day and you wake up and find it very scary and disturbing, don’t panic or be afraid, right there at that moment begin to declare and cancel that evil dream and return it to the pit of hell where it came from. Why should you do that?. You should because you have the power and authority to trample down snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you, Luke 10:19. So you walk in the consciousness of that delegated authority and begin to declare the word of God by lifting a standard against that bad dream.  The word of God is a standard that no devil or his agents can  match. Isaiah 59:19b, “…… When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him” and you know that no work of the devil can meet the standard of God Almighty, so when you have lifted the standard with the authority in you, you be rest assured it is settled. You must also plead the blood of Jesus Christ over such dreams, one of the greatest weapons of heaven that the devil cannot stand is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. It overcomes the devil and his agents with untold speed. In Revelation 12:11a, “And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony …..” When we call the blood to the scene of the bad dream, the devil disappears with all his evil scheming. Above all we must believe in our heart that whatever we have declared and lifted against the bad dreams is true and victory is ours. We must not allow the devil to corrupt our mind again by making those prayers of non effect, Mark 11:23, says “For very I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.  So after lifting up a standard with words by the authority given to you by God, stick to your declarations and you will have your victory over the devil and his bad dreams.

1. Father, thank you for the gift of life and for all that you have done in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, thank you for the gift and blessings you have bestowed upon my life all these years and for seeing your word fulfilled in my life and destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus.
3. Father, I come before you with a remorseful heart, asking for forgiveness for all my sins and shortcomings, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, I plead the blood of Jesus for pardon for whatever sins I have committed that is opening the portal for bad dreams in my life, in the name of Jesus.
