Introduction

Today, I will be talking about marital settlement in the life of young men and women who desire to be settled maritally. Let me start by saying that, it is the perfect will of God for all His children to be married to their God ordained spouse and be happy. It is part of the heritage of the redeemed and so it is a promise that must be fulfilled in the life of those children. In Jeremiah 29:11, the word of God tells us that “For I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. So part of the expected end of the believer is to be gloriously married and bear fruits. And since God is faithful to His word and promises, it is certain that His word will come to pass in our lives.

The issue of marital delay is always very frustrating and tormenting, especially when one is up to the age of marriage and no hope in sight, all relationships are not working out and it’s a story of continuous heartbreak and pains. One might begin to wonder if God and His word is real and powerful, doubt and depression sets in and we begin to look at alternatives outside the promised word of God. The issue of marital delay is a device of the devil to stagnate the marital destiny of a child of God, thereby delaying the favours and blessings that comes with marriage. This he does by causing problems in relationships, heartbreaks, using evil veils to cover the eyes of believers so they won’t see or recognize their God ordained spouse. So the devil keeps making them move from one unfruitful relationship to the other and they all keep breaking up. Marital delay can also be as a result of evil covenants entered into by the ancestors of such a believer, either that no one marries or they are out rightly delayed in marriage. The devil can also put pride into an individual, so that no one is good enough to them for marriage. All these are schemes and devices of the devil, used to stall the marital destiny of a child of God.

I am here to  inform you that God is still doing wonders today, The God of Abraham, who found a wife for Isaac, and broke the yoke of stagnation in the life of Jabez is still at work in your life and He will settle you maritally. God knew from creation that man can’t be left alone and so gave him a help mate. In Genesis 2:18, “And the Lord said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him” for you reading this now, who is due for a helpmate and you are still alone, the word of God is being fulfilled in you life and destiny right now, in the name of Jesus. In Isaiah 34:16, God said “seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them”. From the above scriptures, it shows that reliance on the word of God is our surest path to progress and marital settlement. God said “none of His word shall fail”, and that word says “you shall not want your mate” I therefore decree that you will locate your God ordained spouse today, in the name of Jesus. The word said for “His mouth has commanded it” and we know from Ezekiel 12:25,28 “For I am the Lord; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged; for in your days, o rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord.
