INTRODUCTION

Spiritual gifts are very essential in our daily walk with God. These gifts are given by the Holy Spirit. As Christians, we need the spiritual gifts to give quality service to God. It is the spiritual gifts in us that helps us to showcase the greater works done by God. Signs and wonders in our Christian life are influenced by the spiritual gifts inside us and this is used to draw unbelievers to the knowledge of God. As a child of God, we must desire the spiritual gifts bestowed by the Holy Spirit and pray to manifest them in our daily Christian living. Spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit are by grace, not by merit which is why we must sincerely desire them, and it is given for the blessings of others. Some spiritual gifts manifest on their own, while others need to be encouraged or activated. There are nine in all and when used with the compassion of Christ, wisdom, and integrity, they are invaluable tools of ministry. Spiritual gifts are needed by believers to propagate the kingdom of God because it is these gifts that men see that draw them to the gospel to want to know the all-powerful God you are serving as a believer.

As Christians, we can have more than one spiritual gift according to the gifts mentioned in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:6-10. For us as children of God to discover these spiritual gifts, we need to engage in some prayers asking for the discovery of the spiritual gifts given to us. After discovery then comes the prayers to manifest the gifts given by the Holy Spirit. Combining these spiritual gifts with the fruits of the Holy Spirit brings God. 28. Father, give me the grace to know your word and teach it to draw more souls into your kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus.
29. I decree and declare that as from today, I begin to manifest the hidden spiritual spirits of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’s name.
