INTRODUCTION

Pastors are shepherds given to us by God to teach the word and lead us in the right way to serve God. Much is expected from our pastors every day. Due to these enormous expectations, we tend to forget they are humans and go through certain things we as human beings face too. It doesn’t matter whether they are in right standing with God or not, at any point in time, our pastors need our daily prayers. If anything, pastors need from the church, it is consistent prayers of the church members.

Pastors are expected to be super Christians without feeling, powerful leaders without being hurt, steadfast teachers of the word which they must know how to apply it constantly, financial fundraisers, meet every need for every person in the church, have good work and maintain the perfect home life. Satan is doing everything possible to destroy pastors across the nation. Satan knows that as the pastor goes, so goes the church. If he can destroy pastors then he can ruin churches. The enemy’s strategy will always be to target the ones in leadership positions. Pastors face spiritual, emotional and physical attack so we have to stand by our pastors giving them the prayer support they so desperately need.

Pastors are expected to have wisdom like Solomon, preach the word in season and out of season, have faith, lead the flocks like a good shepherd, be a good counselor, be plenteous in mercy and walk in humility. As all these expectations rise, respect for pastors diminished. Your pastors need your prayers support daily. When you make intercessory prayers for pastors, their ministry will flourish and advance in all areas where the word of God needs to spread to. Once the pastors are struggling with any issues in their ministries, then it is safe to say we have to pray to God to revive and restore them back. Also, warfare prayers for pastors will heal, restore, save and transform the pastors and the church will be preserved. Shepherding people can be stressful and most pastors do not always want to burden others with their burdens. To reduce the rate of depression in the lives of our pastors, we need to seriously pray to God to empower them, give them grace, wisdom and strengthen them for the task.

3. Oh Lord, we commit our pastors into your hands, give them the grace and help they need to walk in determination, steadfastness and endurance in Jesus’ name.
4. Oh Lord, give our pastors the grace to trust in your word and help them to put aside every weight and sin that easily ensnares them.
5. Oh Lord, give them the grace to run with endurance the race set before them and make them finish well and strong in the mighty name of Jesus.
6. Father, give our pastors, peace that surpasses all understanding, the word in the mouth shall be powerful and not come back without fulfilling its purpose in Jesus’ name.
7. Father, give them power and authority to trample upon serpents and scorpions. No evil will come near them in Jesus’ name.
8. Father, give them wisdom to lead the church you have committed into their hands and make our pastors fruitful in all areas in Jesus’ name.

34. Father, make our pastors be terror to the kingdom of darkness and unreachable for devourers to attack in Jesus’ name.
35. Oh Lord, empower our pastors to win souls to your kingdom through the divine teachings of the Holy spirit in Jesus’ name.
36. Father, show our pastors the way, give them your vision and grant them clarity as they step out in faith to proclaim your word always in Jesus’ name.
37. Holy Spirit, revive and bless our pastors with faith and offer blessings to continue faithfully in the service they have been called into in Jesus’ name.
38. Holy Spirit, paralyzed and consumed with fire every power or agents planning evil against our pastors in Jesus’ name. 
39. I command any storm or confusing raging against our pastors to cease now in the mighty name of Jesus.
