40 Prayer Points Against Village Powers

Introduction

Today, I want us to take a look at village powers and how to dislodge them from their powers with the scriptures and prayers. Village powers are those old men and women, even young men who have gathered themselves in an occult or secret society and dictate the activities of the village. They constitute the gods of the land as written in the book of Exodus 12:12. They determine who succeeds and who fails and they carry on their nefarious diabolic activities without anyone daring them. Most times, they make their identities known as no one dares challenge or question their authority in the village.

These evil forces of darkness in the village have succeeded in wreaking havoc, destroying lives and destinies. They have rendered souls useless and caused many to eat from the dunghill. They have stagnated many with financial and marital delays, career and business stagnations. They do it with impunity as no one dares them because they don’t have the power or audacity to question these evil people, so they keep on carrying out their evil plot under the cover of darkness. 

Many of the villagers are being pillaged because of their ignorance of the fact that God’s power is above all other powers including that of the village powers. And those of them who know that God’s power exists do not have the audacity and authority to invoke this power, so they keep being in the bondage of these village powers.

Power is an inherent characteristic of God that cannot be compared to any other power. In Psalm 62:11, we are told that “God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this, that power belongs to God ”. There are other powers aside from the one of God and from God but none can be compared to that of God. God’s power is the ultimate and every other power bows to the supremacy of God’s power, including village powers. If we know that this ultimate power is ours then we need not be afraid of village powers and allow them to mutilate us as they like. 2Timothy 1:7 says “For God hath not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. This means that for every redeemed child of God, the ultimate power that other gods and powers bow to is inherent in you and you need not fear or allow them to wreak havoc in your life and destiny. Every redeemed child of God is meant to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. That is the power to stand and battle this village power and obtain victory. I don’t know who is reading this now, but you might be the one God is going to use to liberate your village from those forces of darkness after reading this.

For any redeemed child of God to be able to obtain this all conquering power and defeat this village powers, one must be very fervent in the secret place of prayer. It is prayer and fasting that empowers believers to grow in power and also have the unshakable faith to defeat the devil and his village powers. That is why I have outlined prayer points to help you stand against these devilish agents called village powers and subdue them. As you begin to engage with these prayers, God will pass through your village and execute judgement against all the gods and powers in your village and liberation and glory will come to your village once again, in Jesus name Amen.

1. Father, I thank you for your grace and mercy at work in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let every dangerous wicked arrows from village powers back fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, let every problem that entered my life through village powers die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, I command every evil tree planted in my village by demonic agent to disturb the garden of my life and be uprooted by fire, in Jesus name.
5. Father, let every satanic cobweb attack programmed against my life by village powers be roasted by fire, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, by the blood of Jesus, speaks destruction into the works of village powers in my life, in the name of Jesus.

30. Father, I reject every spirit of backwardness imposed on me by village power, in the name of Jesus.
