40 Prayers Against Hindrances To Breakthroughs

Introduction

Today, we shall look at hindrances to breakthroughs and how to overcome them, so we can have unending breakthroughs in life. Breakthrough is the heritage and birth right of every believer or child of God. We have been ordained to break forth on every side from the day of salvation. This literally means that, there is no child of God who is meant to be a failure in life and destiny. What we received from God is a glorious destiny as the Bible tells us. That glorious destiny is meant to show forth in all areas of life. The Bible says in 1peter 2:9-10, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” That light is the breakthrough of God. We are told in Matthew 5:14-16, that we are the light and salt of the earth, and we should let our light shine for the world to see. So breakthrough is the redemptive right of every believer.

The devil knows all this and he will do everything possible to destroy or hinder the plan and purpose of God in our lives. One of the ways he does this is by setting hindrances on our path to breakthrough in life. For every believer with a mighty breakthrough, there is an equally great hindrance to overcome. The devil is skilled in putting barriers in the direction of people who are at the brink of their breakthroughs. We saw how he almost thwarted the breakthrough of job, that of Daniel, Joseph and even David. That is his ministry but we have a more sure word of prophecy, that whatever God has spoken concerning us must surely come to pass whether the devil likes it or not.

All the great men in the Bible faced one hindrance or the other on their way to the top, but the good news is that they all overcame those hindrances and had their breakthroughs. The same is your portion because the Bible said we should follow the example of those who through patience received the promise. The patience here is not sitting with folded hands believing that all will be fine. But violently engaging the word of God to scatter the hindrances and barriers that stands on our way to breakthroughs. Jacob wrestled with God to enter into the realm of supernatural breakthroughs, even to the point of shifting one of his hip joints. The Bible says that, from the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God suffers violently and only the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12. So believers must violently war with the hindrances to their breakthroughs, so we can obtain the promises of God for our lives.

God told Joshua that He will be with him on the road to success, that He will not fail nor forsake him and that no man, even the devil will be able to stand in his way. And the same Bible says, what I say to one, I say to all. It means the same promise to Joshua is also for us. Let us then take God’s word as it is and engage the hindrances stopping us from entering our breakthroughs. After these promises to Joshua, God also gave him instructions on what to do to break those hindrances and enter into the promise of God. God told him to make sure he studies the Bible and meditate on it day and night and good success shall be his.(Joshua 1:5-8). So we are called to adhere to the dictates of the Bible if we want to have breakthroughs in life. When we study and meditate on the word, light breaks forth and clears every hindrance on our path to breakthrough.

We must as believers engage the word of God in prayer and fasting, coupled with unflinching faith in God and His word to break barriers to our breakthroughs. Below are prayer points that will enable you to engage and receive your breakthroughs in life. As you do, my God will clear the hindrances on your path as He did for Daniel and your breakthrough will be glorious.

1. Father, I thank you for the gift of life and For your mercy over my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, thank you for upholding my life and keeping me all this year, in the mighty name of Jesus.
3. Father, I cover myself and my destiny with the precious blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, I command every spirit of hindrance against my breakthroughs to die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, let every power of demotion targeted against my destiny by hindering spirits die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, let every spirit, power and personality of hindrances working against my elevation die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, by your word, I command every evil standing order against my destiny broken by fire, in the name of Jesus.
8. Father, by your authority, I command every ancestral curse of hindrances working against my breakthrough and destiny to die, in the name of Jesus.
9. Father, arise in your power and begin to disgrace all my Goliaths, in the name of Jesus.
10. Father, let my Pharaoh die in his own Red Sea, in the name of Jesus.

20. Father, lift me against every power of hindrances and make my life a bethel, in the name of Jesus.
21. Father, I decree that any pattern of poverty arrayed against my life and destiny will not prosper, in the name of Jesus.
22. Father, Let the rivers of breakthroughs flow into my life, in the name of Jesus.
23. Father, Angels of blessing, what are you waiting for, locate me now, in the name of Jesus.
24. Father, I pull down every altar of serpent and hindrance to breakthroughs in my life, in the name of Jesus.
25. Father, arise and destroy every spiritual marriage prepared for my life by the devil and his cohorts, in the name of Jesus.
26. Father, I come against every spirit of hindrances to breakthroughs at work in my life, in the name of Jesus.
27. Father, let every foundational spirit of hindrance at the points of breakthroughs be consumed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
