Introduction

I want us to look at a very interesting topic today called evil dedications and covenants, and how to come out of such situations.

Dedication is the act of setting someone or something apart for special usage or purpose. It is mostly for the purpose of worship or sacrifice. Dedication can be a two way thing, either to God or to the devil.

Evil dedication and covenant is the separation of a child or a grown up person and offering him to the devil for usage. This is an act of handing over a child or a person to the devil for protection or literally, covenanting the child to the devil for his sole purpose. This practice was usually done openly in the olden days when our forefathers worshiped different deities and gods. They dedicated and covenanted their unborn and newly born children and the entire household to that deity or god as a way of securing and protecting them while they in exchange will serve the deity or god forever. In most cases evil marks either physical or spiritual are placed on this individual as a sign of the particular deity or god which they serve.

In this generation, evil dedication and covenant is still happening, though not in the open with all the funfair but in the secret of the night and in hidden places, men and the devil are still carrying out the act of evil dedication. We must understand that, there is no benefit for any man who hands anything over to the devil, the devil is a thief who has come to steal, kill and destroy. Therefore, he has nothing good to offer.

A child or man dedicated to the devil will continue to wallow in the shadows of life and the pit of death and at the end, it is hell for such a one. Evil dedication and covenant makes one a servant to the devil and he yields more to the devil because he is a child of darkness. Most of the things that people do which are evil are not done consciously, rather it is due to the fact that they are dedicated to the devil and are obliged to yield and obey him.

The children of God must realize that God is the only creator and only him should we dedicate and covenant our children to. We saw how Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord and he ended up serving God all through his life. 1Samuel 1:24-28. if he was not dedicated to God, probably he would have served the devil. David also took out time to dedicate all the utensils used in the house of God, so as to separate it for usage.

So a child of God must be conscious of how and where his birth occurred and what happened afterwards to ascertain if he was dedicated or covenant to the devil. We must understand that God is the only supreme being that we must dedicate anything to and not the devil.

If anyone has been dedicated or covenanted to the devil at childhood, either by their forefathers or the hands that carried them at birth or the words spoken upon them at birth. And you think there is no more hope for you to break that evil dedication and rededicate yourself to God. I am here to bring to you the good news that there is hope for you today. Let me open your eyes to understand that every form of evil dedication and covenant is bringing you into a curse of the devil, because the devil has no blessing to give. And the curse of the devil is the curse of the law. I also want you to remember that God sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to come to the world and die for you, not just anyhow death but the most humiliating and gruesome death of the cross, i.e. being hanged on a tree. Now the word says cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree. Jesus Christ came and was hanged on the tree that we might be redeemed from the curse of the law, which is the curse of evil dedication and covenant. That the blessings of Abraham which the devil couldn’t give us when we were dedicated and covenanted to him might be released to us. Galatians 3:13-14. That is the delivering power of God at work in our lives. 2Timothy 4:18 says “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work (the evil dedication and covenant that is at work in me) and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom(protect me from the evil one and make me an instrument of His work on earth and cause me to inherit heaven at the end). Emphasis is mine. So God has already made a way of escape for us and has made us a way to come into his kingdom.

We must be very prayerful in order to erase the mark of evil dedication and covenant in our lives and replace it with that untouchable mark of Christ.    2. Father, I withdraw my prosperity from every evil altar where it was dedicated, in the name of Jesus.
   3. Father, by your word, I withdraw anything representing me at any evil covenant, in the name of Jesus.
   4. Father, I disentangle my life and destiny from every evil altar where my life have been dedicated, in the name of Jesus.
   5. Father, I release myself from every evil dedication from my fathers house, in the name of Jesus.
   6. Father, every evil dedication and covenant that my father initiated me into, I cone out of it today by the blood of Jesus.

   19. Father, let the blood of Jesus speak against every unconscious evil covenant that I was entered into and cut me off them, in the mighty name of Jesus.
   20. Father, I speak destruction unto the fruits of unclean spirits in my life, in the name of Jesus.
   21. Father, I break every evil covenant link that is traceable to me, in the name of Jesus.

   23. Father, I nullify the effects of evil dedication in my life that have granted access to my blood, in Jesus name.

   33. Father, let every satanic image of evil dedication standing against me, collapse to pieces within seven days, in the name of Jesus Christ.
   34. Father, let any god or goddess in my fathers house or mothers house demanding for my worship be crushed to powder, in the name of Jesus Christ.

   44. Father, I decree and declare that by the power and authority in the blood, I am out of every evil dedication and evil covenant and I am dedicated and covenant to God Almighty, in the name of Jesus.
