PRAYER POINTS FOR LONG LIFE

Psalm 91;16

“With Long Life With I satisfy You And Show Him My Salvation”

Are you going through some life challenges right now that are making you think you are going to die soon, are you aware that God has promised us a long life in His Word?

Do you know that it is not going to give God pleasure to see you or any of your loved ones dead?

The Word of God tells us that God will satisfy us with Long Life and show us His Salvation In Psalm 91, He also stated in the book of Jeremiah 29:11, that His thoughts for us are thoughts of good and not of evil to bring us an expected end.

Exodus 23:26b further states that HE will fulfill the number of our days.

Therefore, do not allow the devil deceive or trick you into believing that you cannot live long. As a believer, long life is already part of the spiritual package you were given at the point when you gave your life to Christ.

So, let go of the thoughts of death, put aside the doctor’s report, meditate on the Word of God consistently and say the prayers  points for a long life.

Just before we go into prayers: 

There are some biblical rules of life you must follow to adequately enjoy long life.  Check them below:

1. Be Conscious Of God’s Commands And Keep Them:

Deuteronomy 4:40

        Thou shalt keep therefore His statues and His commandments, which I command you         this day, that it may go well with thee and thy children after thee, and that thou                mayest prolong  thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, forever.

 Going by this scripture, obedience to the commandments of God is the key secret to having a long life. Meanwhile, The ten commandments are not the only commands or laws of God in the bible, there are other laws in the bible we ought to also obey as believers so it can be well with us. 

1. For instance, Hebrews  12; 14 says that we should follow peace with all men and holiness,  without which no man can see God.  So basically, God’s command is everything He has instructed you to do whether in the scriptures or in your daily work with Him.

1. Live A Righteous Life

This is a major requirement for anyone who wants to live long, you must consciously do the things that are right always through the help of the Holy Spirit.

        The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth  

        fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;” – Psalm 92:12-14 

1. Be Fair And Just In Dealing With People:

        In Deuteronomy 25:15, the bible clearly states that we must have a perfect and            just weight, this simply means that in your dealings with people, you should ensure that you do not cheat anyone and don’t  take advantage of anyone’s ignorance, when you obey this command, you will enjoy long life as God has promised.

    More so, when you are just and fair, you are likely to have more friends and less enemies  which reduce   the chances of anyone desiring to see you dead.         

        Deuteronomy 25:15

        But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that  thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

1. Get Wisdom

Proverbs 19:8

        He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul, he that keepeth understanding shall find            good.

       Wisdom is simply knowing  and doing the right thing at any given situation. Wisdom           instructs that  you follow the right path and lead others in the same way. 

       Eating healthy foods and taking lot of water, doing regular exercises, living peacefully     with those  around you, fasting as led by the Holy Spirit, praying always, rendering help      to the needy are  examples of wise things to do in order to live long.

2. Be In Control Of Your Tongue

If you desire to live long, you must endeavor to bridle your tongue, be in total control of what comes out of your mouth, speak well of yourself and others, confess positive things even in the midst of challenges.  

Many have brought destruction upon themselves through the words of their mouth, avoid doing the same if you desire to have a long life.

Proverbs 13: 3

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life, but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

Prayers For Long Life

1. Oh Lord, I thank you for my life and my family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
2. Lord I praise for not allowing me to bring destruction upon myself through my actions
3. Oh lord, let every tempt of the enemy to take my life be aborted now by the blood of Jesus.
4. Father let your divine protection be upon me and my loved ones in the mighty name
5. I decree according to the word of the Lord that I shall live, I shall not die in the mighty name 
6. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I decree that I shall not lose any of my loved ones.
7. Plans to cut short my life, I command you to expire now in the mighty name of Jesus  Christ
8. I receive divine wisdom to live in accordance with your laws in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
9. I decree that my tongue shall not put me in trouble in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
10. Oh Lord please help me to follow your Word on a daily basis in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
11. Father please satisfy me and my household with Long life according to your word in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
12. Father I receive wisdom and grace to honor and obey my parents that my days may be prolonged on earth
13. Oh Lord let every generational curse in my family be destroyed now by the blood of Jesus Christ.
14. Arrows of death targeted against me and my family, catch fire and go back to your sender in the mighty name of Jesus
15.  Arrows of destruction targeted against my loved ones. Go back to your sender now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
16. Every disease that is hiding in my body waiting for my old age before it manifests, I command you to die now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
17. Arrows of sickness targeted against my children, I command you to go back to your sender in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
18. I decree that my family is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, Therefore, no disease will have a place in our bodies in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
19. Every poison I have eaten in my dream that is targeted against my health, I destroy you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
20. Great God I commit the totality of my life and family into your hands, please give unto me and my loved ones: long life and prosperity.
