Introduction

Today, we shall be looking at prayers to chase away evil spirits from our life and habitations. Evil spirits are wicked forces from the dark world who move around the earth or are sent to someone to wreck havoc in their lives. Evil spirits are everywhere on the earth and they are constantly moving around seeking whom to prey on. Psalm 74:20 says “have respect for the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty” it is evil spirits are bring about cruelty on the earth and so the habitation of the earth is full of the cruelty of evil spirits. This signifies that the devil has sent agents into the world to derail, destroy and kill the destiny of God’s children, thereby rendering them useless and scuttling God’s plan and purpose for their lives.

God in his infinite wisdom has made provision for his children to escape the cruelty of the evil spirits on the earth and also to chase them away. We as children of God are dealing with spiritual wickedness in high places and so it also demands that we arm ourselves spiritually to be able to chase away evil spirits.

What to do to chase evil spirits away.

• Be born again and remain so; salvation is the starting point of our Christian journey, until a man is born again, he will continue to experience the cruelty of evil spirits. We are told to put on the helmet of salvation because salvation is our covering from the woes the devil brings our way. Once we are in the light, darkness has no hold over our lives anymore because light and darkness can not abide together. The word of God says “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard it.” Hebrew 2:3. Salvation is our only escape route from the evil spirits around us. At salvation we become a new creation birthed in light and all old things which give evil spirits passageway into our lives are cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

• Be rooted in the word; the word of God is another weapon to chase chase away evil spirits for our lives. When a child of God is rooted in the word, there is no situation the devil brings that the word can’t quench. The word is the light and sword of the spirit that quenches all the fiery darts of evil spirits. All that an evil spirit need when he comes is a shot of the right word spoken in faith and the evil spirits will flee. The bible says in Jeremiah 15:16 “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts” they are the rejoicing of our heart because it shatters the rocks in pieces. Psalm 119:89 says “Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”  God’s word settles the turmoil of evil spirits because in Psalm 138:2 it is written “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast exalted thy word above all thy names.” So evil spirits knows they can’t withstand where the word is spoken with power and faith.

• The name of Jesus; the name of Jesus Christ is another weapon to chase away evil spirits from our surrounding. It carries the eternal power of God, given to him after he had obtained victory on the cross. Philippians 2:8-11 says “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus Christ every knee should, of things in heaven, and things in the earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” So even the devil and all his evil spirits kneel and bow at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, because Jesus has already defeated him and has placed us very far above all principalities and powers and most of all evil spirits. So when the next evil spirit tries anything around you, call upon that name of Jesus Christ and that evil spirit will flee.

Prayers, faith and fasting; as a child of God, prayer is very important for you to wage a war of victory over the devil and his evil spirits. There are some issues of life that won’t give way until prayer and fasting comes on the scene. Matthew 17:20-21 say “And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. “ so prayer and fasting rooted in faith is required to quench all fiery darts of wicked spirits attacking our lives.

I have prepared prayer points by the leafing of the holy spirit to help us in our battle with evil spirits. As you pray this prayer points in faith believing, you shall obtain your victory in Christ Jesus.

Prayers To Chase Away Evil Spirits

1. Father, by your word, chase away every evil spirit that is doing overtime in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, by your sent word, I command every evil speaking destruction in my life and destiny to be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, by your word that sets free, I release myself from every evil spirits that is degrading my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, by your word, let every evil spirit of hell after my soul be chased back to the abyss, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, let the fire of the holy ghost consume every evil spirit that is molesting my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, I decree the fire of the holy ghost upon the evil spirit standing as an advocate for my downfall, in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, let your wrath descend upon every evil spirit causing marital delays in my life, in the name of Jesus.
8. Father, by your voice, silence every evil spirit that is manifesting in my destiny to destroy it, in the name of Jesus.
9. Father, by your voice, let every evil spirit speaking failure in my life be silenced and destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
10. Father, I decree and declare that every evil spirit sent to attack and derail the plan and purpose of God for my life be destroyed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
11. Father, every association and gang up of evil spirits against my breakthroughs in life be scattered, in the mighty name of Jesus.
12. Father, let the evil spirits of my fathers house working against my success in life be silenced by your mighty power, in the name of Jesus.
13. Father, let the fire from above consume the meeting point of evil spirits who are after my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.
14. Father, by the blood of Jesus, my body becomes impenetrable for any evil spirit to carry out their evil plans, in the mighty me of Jesus.
15. Father, by the blood of the eternal covenant, I have been brought out of every evil pit that evil spirits have placed my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
16. Father, by the blood of the eternal covenant, I receive double for all the losses that evil spirits have caused me in life, in the name of Jesus.
17. Father, by your power, thunder down upon every evil spirit sent to manipulate my health and that of my family, in the name of Jesus.
18. Father, by your word as fire, shatter every word of the devil speaking in any facet of my life and destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus.
19. Father, by your healing word, heal every terminal disease in my body that evil spirits have placed in me, in the name of Jesus.
20. Father, by your healing hand, heal and restore the health of every incurable disease in the life of your children, in the name of Jesus.
21. Father, by your mighty power, deliver me from the grip of the evil spirit standing as a giant in my family, in the name of Jesus.
22. Father, release all those who are bound in the coven and cave of evil spirits around the world, in the name of Jesus.
23. Father, let every evil spirit of darkness posing as a spirit of light to derail and shatter the destiny of your children be exposed and destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
24. Father, empower me afresh with your anointing to scatter the works of evil spirits in my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.
25. Father, by your anointing, every evil spirit that is causing problems in my finances be scattered, in the name of Jesus.
26. Father, by your anointing, I break the yoke of evil spirits over my career and business, in the name of Jesus.
27. Father, by your anointing, I receive the power to chase away all evil spirits speaking against my finances and settlement, in the name of Jesus.
28. Father, let the angel smite every agent of the evil one casting spell upon my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.
29. Father, every evil spirit from my family foundation, attacking me and my family is silenced by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
