1. Genesis 24:7 

“The Lord, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give this land’—he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.”

Pray that God will send His Angels for your deliverance. God might decide to use any human you know or may not know. The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.

Whilst we pray for the help of God’s Angels, we should also pray that we do not fall into the category of people that will be harvested by God’s Angels into the wrath of God on the last day. Have it in mind that judgment is coming for every man on earth and the same Angel that helped you might be sent to cast you into the lake of fire prepared for the devil. Pray against that.

Sometimes, like Jacob, all that you need to breakthrough into the next level of your life is an encounter with the Angel of God. In this case, you don’t necessarily need to pray for it, because God will see your desire for Him and grant you the encounter. But, it is not out of place to pray that God will grant you an encounter with His Angels for the next level of your life. 

23. Genesis 48 verse 16

“the Angel who has delivered me from all harm —may he bless these boys. May they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they increase greatly on the earth.”

Like Moses, your testimony can be this way if you pray. The Angels of God can be commanded by God to not let any harm come your way throughout your days on earth. Pray that God will send His Angels to deliver you from all harm and keep you safe for the assignment that He has entrusted into your hands. 

24. Psalms 34 verse 7 

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

May this be your lot. This is not necessarily what you pray for, it is a result of your reverence for God. Those who fear God automatically have God’s Angels surrounding them and administering deliverance to them. You can also pray that the Angel of God builds a camp around you.

Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them,

This is a clear manifestation of the working of the Angel of God. All round direction and protection is assured when the Angel of God goes with anyone to a place. It is obvious that the children of Israel were able to make it out of the wilderness as a result of the guidance of the Angel of God. You can pray for this kind of supply from God. 

26. Judges 6 verses 20 – 22

The angel of God said to him, “Take the meat and the unleavened bread, place them on this rock, and pour out the broth.” And Gideon did so.

Sometimes in our lives, we need direct instructions from the Angel of God to properly carry out God’s commands. Here, Gideon received specific directives from the Angel of God on how to carry out that particular sacrifice. You can pray to God to send His Angels for specific directions in your endeavor. 

27. Exodus 23 verse 23

My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.

It is a privilege to have the Angel of God as your personal Angel wherever you go. We are told that every Christian has an Angel attached to him or her. You can pray that your Angel always accompanies you where you go and leads you to victory in whatever battle you find yourself in.

There is news that God can decide to send His Angels to bear them to man. The joy is that such news is always very exciting and fulfilling.

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved (verse 30).

Sometimes in the scriptures, seeing an Angel of God is synonymous with seeing God. In the case of Jacob, an Angel of God encountered him and he testified that he had seen God. This kind of encounter is what every believer should pray for. Pray to see the face of God and God might send His Down to you.

Human beings ate the bread of angels; he sent them all the food they could eat.

When you’re lacking, pray for God’s provision. Just as God supplied Angel’s food (manna) to the Israelites, He can grant you provisions that can’t be gotten from anywhere.
