30 Prayer Points Against False Prophets

Matthew 7:15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

False prophets are people who claim to possess the divine gift of prophecy, they claim to speak and hear from God, for selfish aims and purposes. Through the pages of the bible, there are many warnings concerning false prophets and their prophecies. In recent times, we see them operating in diverse ways and doing all sorts of miracles that are not in line with the operations of Christ while He was on earth.

False  prophets as the name implies, are people who engage in luring people to believe what they say by attaching their word of prophecies to God. What is the aim of these false prophets?  The answer is written in Romans 16:18 ‘’For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple’’.  Also, you may want to ask: What is their end? As clearly stated in 2 peter 2:1, the end of false prophets is swift destruction.

As Christians, we should beware of these false prophets and flee from their operations as scripture says in Matthew 7:15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

You may be wondering now: How do I Recognize And Flee from  false prophets?

1. Test all prophets: The bible says in 1 John4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. The best way to recognize a false prophet is by testing the spirit behind the prophet, so now, how do you test these spirit? 
2. First, check their prophecies through the eyes of the scripture, if the prophecies they give you does not align with the Word of God, then it should become clear to you who they are serving.
3. You can also test them by their fruits: Matthew 16:19 says  ‘’Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit’’ When you check their life style and the things they do, you will find traces or full acts of unrighteousness in display. For example, a prophet who claims to be a true prophet of God, but has no trace of the fruits of the spirit(peace, love, joy, gentleness, meekness, self control, kindness etc), is a false prophet.
4. Know The Word of God: 2 Timothy 2:15 states  ‘’Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth’’. As a Christian, it is important that you study the Word of God by yourself, don’t just get acquainted, study to know the mind of God regarding any difficult situation you are. When you know the will of God, it will be easy for you to avoid false prophecies and false prophets.
5. Build A Good Relationship With The Holy Spirit: John 14:26 says: ‘’ But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you’’. The Holy Spirit is that comforter promised by Jesus Christ, when you build a good relationship with the Holy Spirit, He will teach you all things: including how to recognize false prophets and their evil prophecies, He will comfort you in all situations and remind you of the Word of God that has been stored up in your heart.
6. Trust In God With All Your Heart: Seeking for answers and solutions desperately can make one a prey in the hands of false prophets, and this is why it is important that you put your total trust in God, rely on Him totally for your prayers to be answered and don’t try to peep into your future, even if you want to, ask God for divine revelation.
7. Pray Until Your Prayers Are Answered: Laziness to pray and commune with God has pushed many into the hands of false prophets, build your prayer life such that, you can ask for everything in prayers and keep asking until your prayers are answered.

30 Prayer Points Against False Prophets 

1. Lord, deliver us from every false prophet of this time, in the mighty name of Jesus.
2. Every prophet that is not of God, trying to manipulate us from the right way of righteousness to the other way, we decree and declare, the Lord will destroy them, in the mighty name of Jesus
3. Father, establish us in your power and in the knowledge of your word, that we will be able to discern every false prophets around us, in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. Lord, empower us, that any false prophets will not be able to overpower us, in the mighty name of Jesus.
5. Oh lord, deliver us from the hands of the manipulators calling themselves prophet, in the mighty name of Jesus.
6. Oh God, help us to be deeply rooted in your Word that we may be able to stand against evil prophecies, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
7. We Stand against every false prophet and their household with the power, in the blood of Jesus.
8. Lord, expose every negative and false prophet in our community, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
9. Lord, destroy and put to shame every evil device of false  prophets in our land, in the mighty name of Jesus.
10. Father, those false who are watering down your Word with human philosophies, arrest their hearts and cause them to repent of their sins, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
11. I decree, henceforth, every plan and agenda of false prophets over my life is destroyed  now, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
12. Father, destroy every false prophet trying to launch evil into my family, in the mighty name. 
13. Every false prophets bringing stains on the Church of God we come against you, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
14. Lord, we decree that every false prophet and their household shall be put to shame, in the mighty name of Jesus.
15. Father, standing on your word I decree that every plan of false prophet to disrupt the plan of God for my life, is destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
16. Lord, as fire go before you in the time of old let that fire go ahead of us and destroy any false prophet around us, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
17. Father, every plan of the enemy to bring false prophets in my way I destroyed them, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
18. Every plan of the enemy to use false prophets to shatter my life Lord scatter them, in the mighty name of Jesus.
19. Father, locate the camp of every evil false prophets and set It on Fire, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
20. Father, we destroyed the work of their hands and we command that their plans be shattered, in the mighty name of Jesus.
21. God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost, arise and destroy, any false prophet proclaiming what is not from you Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus. 
22. Father, we decree and declare, that evil prophet, shall not know our dwelling places in the mighty name of Jesus.
23. Father, help us not to fall victim to every negative prophecies coming from false prophets, in the mighty name of Jesus.
24. Father, give me the discernment to identify false prophets around me. 
25. Lord we ask that you renew  respect for true doctrine and law in all nations, churches, families and individuals. 
26. Lord we ask that you raise up people with genuine spiritual gifts such as teaching and preaching that will be faithful and reliable so hope can be restored. 
27. Father deliver me from those who would lead people astray with their corrupt doctrines and ideas. 
28. Oh Lord please deliver me from any bondage I have entered  into through  the visitation of false prophets in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
29. Every evil word that has spoken against my destiny by evil prophets, I destroy it now by the blood of Jesus Christ.
30. Every evil pronouncement made into my future by satanic prophets, I deactivate you now by the blood of Jesus Christ.
