Introduction

Today, we shall be looking at prayers for urgent healing from all kinds of diseases. Sickness and disease is one of the end time tools of the devil, used to destroy and drain the children of God.

The devil knows that he has but a little time and also that so many children of God are ignorant of their place and position in redemption. The Bible says that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  The devil has been thriving on the ignorance of believers to afflict them with all manner of sickness and diseases. This is done to wreck the destiny of men, drain them and their families of their finances and in most cases cut short their lives. One of the most gruesome agony a believer faces with the devil is the afflictions of sickness and disease. And one of the ways he gains access to the believer’s health is through sin. Sin is a killer and destroyer, the devil causes the children of God to fall to sin, so that he might have access to their health and destroy it, this is because he knows that by redemption, Jesus has already paid the ransom for our health and wholeness. The devil thrives on sin and ignorance on the side of the believer to gain access into the life of the believer and afflict it.

The blessings of God are without repentance, and it lasts forever. God has blessed us with health and wholeness from the beginning, Jesus was the sacrificial lamb that was slain for us to obtain health and wholeness on the cross of Calvary. He received those stripes that we might be made whole. In Matthew 8:17, “that it might be fulfilled” which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses” this verse shows us that Jesus Christ took away our sickness and disease over two thousand years ago and it is still in force till eternity. This verse is what confers on us the Zoe kind of life i.e. the God kind of life. This life is the life that knows no sickness and disease. Have you been plagued by sickness and disease for years and there is no healing and solution in place? I am here to let you know that God has already made provision for your healing, it’s just left for you to press into it and take delivery of it.

Our anchor scripture in Psalm 103:3, makes us understand that without forgiveness, there can’t be healing. So first repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness. Once the devil has nothing to hold unto you, your deliverance and healing starts. Remember that the devil is the accuser of the brethren and will do everything to stall your healing right in redemption, you have to resist him by confessing your sins and asking for forgiveness. Then you will see your healing take place.

Our second anchor scriptures Psalm 107:19-20. Says God sent His word and healed and delivered them from the destruction. You have to confess the word of God, cry unto God in faith with His word. His word heals and shatters diseases. When God sends His word, every sickness and disease around your life gets out of your life. Matthew 8:16, says “when the event came, they brought into Him many that were possessed with the devil, and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick.”  God’s sent word works wonders in healing all manner of diseases. What the word does is to cast out the spirit of infirmity tormenting you and then the spiritual healing that shows in the physical takes place. When you are saturated with the sent word of God, sickness and disease will have no hiding place in and around you anymore. Hold unto the eternal and settled word of God and you will see your healing take place 

Mere cry and tears don’t move God to heal our diseases, it is the cry of faith in a heartfelt prayer that moves God to stretch forth His arm of healing towards a believer. When you cry to God in prayer with faith in your heart, you commit God to answer on the spot and your healing becomes inevitable.
