INTRODUCTION:

Bad habit is an unacceptable or unpleasant behavior that is detrimental to God and man. Bad habits can also be said to be detrimental to one’s physical or mental health. Bad habits is a habit that one develops as a result of consistency, that is a habit that one does as a result of recurrent or unconscious attitude or behaviors. There is power in consistency, what you do overtime becomes a habit, we are being encouraged to persist and be consistent in whatever dream we are trying to pursue. The same applies to bad habits, because it is what we do over the time that masters us.

Therefore, in this article, we will be praying 35 deliverance prayers to stop bad habits. Bad habits could be smoking, fornications, lying, stealing, adultery, getting drunk, disobedience to God, authorities and men, fighting, to mention a few. Deliverance starts once you recognize you have a bad habit in your life, God is faithful God He said if we ask anything in His name, He said He will do it, God has the power to deliver us and free us from every bad habit.

Bad habits are destructive, it does not add any value to one, it only makes one lose his or her dignity and integrity. It stops one from fulfilling one’s divine destiny and most importantly it can make one miss eternity and heaven which is the most important and the utmost goal of every child of God.

Howbeit, there are steps to take to get delivered from these bad habits which are listed below:

1. Re-dedicate your life to Christ. The bible says in 1 John 1:9 ‘If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from every unrighteousness. If you have surrendered your life to Christ before, and you still have bad habits in your life, you need to re-dedicate your totality to Jesus. 
2. Study the word of God daily. Joshua 1:8 says: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. It is only the word of God that can guide and guard you.
3. Ask for the direction of the Holy spirit. Let the Holy Spirit be your leader.
4. Stay away from anything or anyone that keeps taking you back to those habits you do not want in your life.
5. Prayer and fasting. You must pray fervently and fast about it till you see the desired changes and total turnaround from the bad habits.

1. Thank You Jesus for the grace to make me know who and where I am right now in the name of Jesus.
2. I ask that You Lord wash me clean with Your precious blood and make me white as snow in the name of Jesus.
3. I surrender my mind to You as i pray today and I declare my freedom from every bad habit in the name of Jesus.

7. Every generational bad habit that is reoccurring in my life, perishes by fire in the name of Jesus.
8. Every bad habit assigned to cut off my glory, be cut off by fire in the name of Jesus.
9. I cut off myself from every unfriendly friend that is bringing out the bad habits in my life in the name of Jesus.
10. Holy Spirit, empower me to conform to the image of Christ in the name of Jesus.
11. I destroy by fire every act of flesh in my spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus.
12. Oh God of David arise and delivers me completely from these bad habits in the name of Jesus.

31. I will live to fulfill my destiny in the name of Jesus, bad habits will not cut short my life in the name of Jesus.
32. I silence every voice speaking evil into my mind in the name of Jesus.
33. Oh God my father, let the fire of revival fall upon my life in the name of Jesus.
34. I decree in the name of Jesus, that I shall not go back to my vomit again in the name of Jesus.
35. I thank You Lord Jesus, because I am complete in You, and I am free from every bad habit forever in the name of Jesus.
