INTRODUCTION

Children are the heritage of God and we, the parents, are just a caretaker of this lamb of God. Children are to be brought up in the way of the Lord and every child is uniquely created in every way possible. Every child given to us by God should be trained in his own way so that he won’t depart from it when he/she grows up. Children are to be nurtured and groomed in the right way. They must grow in four ways Jesus grew according to Luke 2:52 which was mentally, physically, spiritually and socially. We must teach them to meditate and feed on the word of God as early as possible. While doing all these for our children as parents, we are also expected to support them in prayers daily. We have to prophesy and make positive confession coupled with declarations in their daily existence. We need to pray against the attacks and plans of the evil ones against their lives. You needed to commit all their directions into the hands of God and also declare God’s mercy in all their endeavors.

In this article, we will be looking at 35 mercy prayers we can join to our daily prayers for our children. We can’t but pray for God’s mercy to be present in their lives because mercy opens doors of protection, shield, breakthrough, excellence, favour, grace etc. among all the things needed for successful growth of our children.

35 Mercy Prayers On My Children

1. Thank you, Lord, for the children you have given to me, they shall be for signs and wonders in Jesus’ name.
2. Thank you, Lord, for the good health and sound mind you bestowed upon my children, may your name be highly praised in Jesus’ name.
3. Oh Lord, have mercy on my children, they will not be a prey of the devil to use against me in Jesus’ name.
4. According to Genesis 25:31; Oh Lord, the birthright of my children shall not be taken away from them in Jesus’ name
5. According to Isaiah 54:17; Oh Lord, no weapon fashioned against my children shall prosper in the mighty name of Jesus.
6. Oh Lord, give my children the grace to be nurtured in your word daily in Jesus’ name.
7. According to Zephaniah 3:15; Father, by your mercy, my children shall see evil no more in the mighty name of Jesus.

16. Father, wherever the glory of my children has been exchanged from a leader to a slave, Blood of Jesus, let there be a restoration in Jesus’ name.

18. According to Isaiah 58:6; Lord, by your mercy, lose the band of the wicked from my children in the name of Jesus.

24. Wherever I have used negative statements to tie up children, the covenant of mercy released them in the mighty name of Jesus.
25. Lord, separate my children’s light from the powers of darkness threatening to kill them in the mighty name of Jesus.
26. Powers of darkness covering the glory of my children, catch fire in Jesus’ name.
27. Every stranger defining my children in the dream, dies by fire in Jesus’ name.
28. Every covenant of cobwebs and spiders upon my children’s progress, disappears by fire of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name.
29. By your mercy, Lord, the light of my children will shine all over the world in Jesus’ name.
30. Father, please let my children experience your mercy and favour wherever they go and wherever they turn in Jesus’ name.
31. Oh Lord, let your mercy and favour make my children stand out among their peers in the name of Jesus.
32. Oh Lord, by your mercy, the hands and plans of the evil ones shall not prevail over the lives of my children in Jesus’ name.
33. Oh Lord, by your mercy, let the devil not triumph over my children’s destiny in the name of Jesus.
34. Oh Lord, where others fail, your mercy will make my children succeed in the mighty name of Jesus.
35. Father, let the anointing of supernatural and uncommon favour rest upon my children from today in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for answered prayers. Testimonies shall abound in Jesus’ name.
