Today I will be looking at prayers for new born babies. It is a thing of joy when a family hears the sound of a new born baby in their home. The sound of that new baby excites the entire family and even the neighbors around. Therefore, it is the prayer of every couple to give birth to a new baby or for their children to give birth, so they can be proud grandparents. 

For every believer, children are the heritage of every believer as the word of God confirms and a reward for marriage. God has destined that every child of His must have an offspring, that is why the word says that none shall be barren in the land. So it is necessary for every believer to carry the consciousness of having a child in mind.

It is one thing to have a child and another to train a child the way they should go and also seeing them grow to be better and responsible people in the society. Training up a child thus requires the mighty hand of God on the parents to see that child through in life.

It must also be ensured that the wicked one does not have a filled day with the new born baby by derailing their destiny, this infant stage of a child is a period of being extra careful and protecting the baby from the waiting hand of the devil. That is why it becomes necessary for parents to constantly pray for their new babies, so that the devil and his cohorts will not harm or scatter their destiny.

That is why I have taken time to prepare the prayer points below, so that we can adequately pray for our  new born babies and keep them safe, and away from the eye of the devil and his cohorts.

1. Father, thank you for the gift of a newborn baby, to you alone be all the glory, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, thank you for your hand upon the mother to deliver safely without any complications, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, I dedicate this new born baby into your hand, guide and protect this child from every harm, in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. Father, let your mighty hand overshadow this new born baby against every evil plan of the devil, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, I pray the guardian angel of this new born baby will be ever present to guide and keep the child, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, preserve the destiny of this new born baby from the hand of destiny destroyers, in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, keep this new born baby from every evil eye that may want to hurt the future and destiny of this baby, in the mighty name of Jesus.
8.  Father, let your mighty hand cause this new born baby to wax strong in strength and wisdom, in the name of Jesus.

33. Father, every curse of the family that will be transferred to this new born baby is cut off from the life of this child, in the name of Jesus.
