Introduction

Today, we are looking at prayer points against ancestral altars, but before we define ancestral altars. What is an altar? An altar is a table, platform or elevated place on which a priest places and offers either to God or the devil. An altar is a place of sacrifice, a place of covenant and a place of spiritual traffic and transaction with the spirit world. An ancestral altar is then defined as an elevated place of covenant between our forefathers and demonic forces, where sacrifices are offered and evil covenants instituted. It is a place where the destiny of generations yet unborn are short-changed, mortgaged and sacrificed for power, wealth and firm. It is a place where the fate and religion of unborn generations are sealed with an oath of blood covenant. This covenant has caused the current generation a lot of pain and hardship, as there is a traffic of demons in and out of people’s life before the covenant of their ancestors on the altar have created a leeway for the devil and his demons to come in.

Africa as a continent was given to idol worship, long before Christianity came, a lot of families were worshiping different gods before civilization. This demonic spirits still torments their generations today. Many families are under the bondage of ancestral altars, these satanic altars keep speaking evil in the lives of unsuspecting children of God. Many individuals and families are suffering from issues like untimely death, barrenness, poverty, sicknesses and diseases, these are all issues from ancestral altars. Child of God, you must separate yourselves from these satanic covenants. You are a new creation, old things have passed away and hence all things have become new.
