What is prosperity?

Prosperity is the act of attaining success, enjoying good fortune, divine blessings and favour. Prosperity is the state of achieving goals, and overcoming obstacles to make significant progress. It is a state of good welfare and well-being. To prosper means to encounter breakthrough, to thrive, to grow and to increase.

1. Joseph: Joseph was loved and favoured by his father, and even after he was sold to egypt he prospered everywhere he found himself. Although Joseph faced some challenges, he was upright and those challenges ended up leading him to his way of success. He earned a high place with the king in Egypt and saved the land from famine. 

Genesis 39:2 “And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous a man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian“

Genesis 39:3 “And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to b prosper in his hand“

Genesis 41:41 “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt“

2. Abraham: Abraham was blessed bountifully by God. He was prosperous and became a father of nations.

Genesis 17:5 “Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; f for a father of many nations have I made thee.

3. Solomon: King Solomon was blessed with wisdom, and with that he ruled Israel and became a prosperous king.
