The word of God in 3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” This Bible verse is clearly telling us how much God is interested in our prosperity – body, soul and spirit. God wants us to prosper and flourish in whatever we lay our hands on. Our God is the Jehovah Elshaddai, the all-sufficient God. He is the owner of a thousand cattle upon a thousand hills. He is ever ready to guide us into prosperity and divine flourishing.

Deuteronomy 8:18 says,  “But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as it is this day.” It is God that gives us the power to be prosperous in any business undertaking. This is why we must rely on Him for business ideas that can stand the test of time. Business ideas that come from God usually thrive irrespective of economic conditions of the world.

There are various examples of people in the Bible who prospered in their businesses because God gave them wonderful, unbeatable multi million dollars business ideas. Some of them are:

1. Isaac: the Bible says that there was famine in the land where Isaac sojourned. However, Isaac sowed in the land and in the same year, he reaped a hundredfold. This was made possible because God was with him in his business of farming.
2. Jacob: Jacob was cheated a lot of times in Laban’s house where he served him for his daughters and his wages for keeping Laban’s cattle was changed a lot of times. However, God gave him an idea on how to prosper, and when he applied it, everything worked in his favour, making him prosper tremendously in Laban’s house.
3. Peter: Peter was a professional fisherman. But his skills failed him which resulted in fruitless efforts. The Bible says he toiled all night, but could not catch any fish. Immediately Jesus got to the scene, He instructed him and gave him an idea on where to cast the net for a draught. He obeyed and caught so great a number of fish that he had to ask neighbors to help him.

After praying and seeking God’s face on business ideas, God will surely come through for you by revealing some things to you. When God gives you an idea(s), you are expected to play your part by doing certain things. Some of them are:

1. Write down the idea(s): Habakkuk 2:2 says, “…..write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,….” Immediately God gives you an idea or ideas, you are expected to write it down, so that it will be easily accessible to you. Also, so that you don’t forget it.
2. Take a step of faith: You are expected to take the very first step of faith in putting the idea to use. This first step may be:
