Marriage is the first institution created by God. Reading through the book of Genesis, one will realize that marriage was and is still God’s idea. According Genesis 2:18; God knew it wasn’t good for man to be alone so he created a helper for him which simplifies that God place a great importance to companionship which is more achieved through marriage.

Also, Genesis 1:27 “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them shows that there was a plan and purpose why God created man and woman and he believed that marriage helps to showcase the true and ideal relationship he wanted to established with his creations here on earth.

Due to the fact that God is the author of marriage, there are rules and guidelines to follow when you are of age to settle down. For one to know the ideal person for one, you need to be spiritually alert and ask for the guidance for God when finding a godly spouse.

Matthew 7:7 according to the scriptures told us to ask, seek and knock and all will be given to us. You have to ask the author of marriage to direct you to your ideal person meant for you and the good God who give when asked will help, also guide you in the right way to go so that your marriage will be successful here on earth. Marriage can make or mar one if it is not entered godly or lawfully. 

Finding a godly husband in this present day and age is not easy and it can be hard to be single when one heart wants to be married but I pray for you that you find a godly husband according to God’s will and also pray that after finding, he will love you as Christ love the church and gave himself for it in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

1. Thank you, Lord, for the salvation of my soul and for qualifying me to approach the throne of grace for help in my time of needs.
2. Thank for Lord for the great and mighty things you will do in my life and my future spouse in Jesus’ name.
3. Oh Lord, build me to your taste as you prepare me for marriage in Jesus’ name.
4.  I receive spiritual, financial, mental, physical, emotional and attitudinal capacity for my future home in the name of Jesus.
