Introduction

Today, we will be looking at prayers to protect our family from death. Death is a reality in this world both in the secular and Christian world. It is evident that surely the flesh will wax old and death will eventually come upon us, but how and when that death comes is what matters to every believer.

The question for every believer is, is that death comes from God or is it from the pit of hell? The devil has blinded so many eyes to believe that all deaths are from God and we can’t do anything about it. So he keeps taking the lives of innocent people who are born to make a great impact on the earth.

God in his wisdom makes us to understand that though death is real for all humans but the believer is not meant to die a shameful death or die in the hand of the devil, there isn’t anything called premature death for any believer or dying before their ripe old age on the earth, that is what the bible tells us and since it is our standard for living, we have to believe it.

Praying for family members against death is protecting the entire family from the dreadful spirit of death because it hurts when we lose a loved one to the cold hand of death, especially when the death is a premature one.
