40 Prayers To Protect Myself From Family Battles

Today, we shall be looking at how to protect oneself from family battles, using the weapon of prayers. Family battles are real and it is only the ignorant or those whose faces have been covered with a dark veil that will say, there is no such thing as family battles. 

Protecting oneself from family battles is the wisest thing a believer can do for his or herself. Protection is said to be the state of being protected from any form of harm, loss or even death, from those things that seek to harm or take our lives. Family battles are one of the fiercest battles that a believer will always fight. This is because most of the time, they are those connected to us by blood, and since blood has a very strong effect in human and spiritual life, it is therefore used for or against an individual. 

Family battles can come in different dimensions, it might be from the ancestral, biological parents, wicked uncles and aunts, and even siblings can be the source of the battles in one’s life. These evil battles can range from frustration to loss of job and dignity, they can render one useless so that one does not lift up his head.

It can come in the area of delays in life and marriage, it can also come in the form of the spirit of emptiness, where they empty you of all you have both spiritually and physically. It can also be family blood battles, where they use the advantage of being connected to you by blood to afflict the believer with all manner of wickedness.

Family battles can cause a lot of pain and anguish and even cause death for the victim. The devil knows he has but a short time, so he has decided to cause family members to be at Loggerheads with each other. It can also be from the evil acts of our ancestors or our biological parents which now causes serious issues in our lives.

Most of the time, curses are laid on the generations yet unborn of our ancestors due to the wicked acts they associated with in time past, and if we do not know or we keep quiet, we see these curses having a ravaging effect in our lives, even to the point of death. This has caused a lot of people their destiny and even their lives.

But there is nothing beyond the capacity of our God to handle, God is our Father, and He is committed to seeing us delivered and protected against every battle of life. God sent Jesus Christ to manifest on the earth, so that He can destroy the works of the devil, including family battles. The destruction of those works of darkness is what liberated us from the devil and all his battles. 

Every redeemed child of God is kept safe in the hollows of God’s hands where the battles of life can’t reach him. The Bible says the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs to it and they are saved. As long as you walk in righteousness, you are not a candidate for family battles.

In Psalm 32:3-5, it says, “But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter up of my head. I cried unto the Lord, he heard me out of his holy hill. I laid me down and slept, I awaked, for the Lord sustained me.” God has made a shield around every of his redeemed child to protect and keep them from all kinds of evil eyes. In Psalm 125:1-3, it says, “They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides for ever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands iniquity”. so, trusting in the Lord is one requirement for being under his cover, and when you are under His cover, no family battles can come from there.

Psalm 32:7 says, “Thou art my hiding place, thou shalt preserve me from trouble, thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance”. God is our hiding place, He keeps us in the hollow of his hands and we are not just covered but also delivered from every family battle and its effects. I therefore pray for you now, that every family battle you have found yourself in, as you come under His banner, you are delivered and heavily protected in the mighty name of Jesus.

But, to come under the protective arm of God for protection against family battles, one must do these two things.

First, You must be born again.

Salvation is the first point of call for anyone who wants God to protect him against family battles. Jesus told Peter, “If I wash you not, thou has no part in me.” John 13:8. One must be washed with the water of salvation and life flowing from the fountain of Christ Jesus, in order to have a part in Him. And part of that package is the eternal protective arm of God upon such individuals. So, redemption procures for us a covering and a shield that the devil and all its family battles can’t withstand.

Secondly, Prayer and fasting.

Anyone under the affliction of family battles must give in to a life of prayer and fasting. The Bible said in Matthew 17:21. “Howbeit, this kind goeth not away but by prayer and fasting.” One must be devoted to a serious life in the secret place of prayer and fasting to bring down the protective arm of God upon his or her life against every kind of family battle. When you pray and fast, the heavens open and the angels descend to hearken to the voice of God which has commanded them to protect and deliver you from every family battle.

32.  Father, let every ancient demon of my father’s house residing and bringing battles into my life be destroyed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
