Introduction
Today, we want to look at prayers for protection against road accidents. What is God saying about our protection over the ills of life? God’s protection over us is sure and certain, His word concerning our protection is true and real and can’t be broken.
God has made adequate provision for our protection against all forms of road accident. He said in His word that He will cover us with his feathers and under His wings shall we trust, His truth shall be our shield and buckler. God is shielding and protecting us wherever we go from all kinds of road accidents. His mighty hand is ever upon us to protect us and keep the devil and his agents away from us at all times. In Matthew 28:20b “I am with you always, even unto the end of time” and Psalm 121:8 “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even for evermore” so we see that God’s is with us always preserving us from all road accidents either when we are going out or coming in.
The devil is behind every form of road accidents we see on the way, he dispatches his blood sucking demons to go on the highways and cause havoc for accidents and suck the blood of their victims, that is how they get blood for all kinds of evil they carry out. As children of God, our blood is not meant for their satanic blood bank because the blood of Jesus Christ has been infused into us at redemption. We are not meant to be afraid of them. The word says that the Lord shall preserve us from all evil and also preserve our soul, we can’t be killed or maimed through road accidents or any other means because we are preserved. Remember Isaiah 41:10 says “fear thou not, for I am with thee, do not be dismayed; for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” Psalm 46:1 “ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” so there is no need to be afraid when confronted with such situations knowing that God is with us, but there is no need to wait till when confronted with such situations when we can scatter every plan and purpose of the devil to use road accident to destroy our life and destiny. We can scatter and shatter every device and plan of the devil and his blood sucking demons on the altar of prayer, the Bible says “He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” Psalm 91:1. The secret place here is the place of prayer, when we engage on the altar of prayer for God’s protection over us against road accidents, we come under the shadow of God and I can tell you authoritatively that the devil and his demon can’t come close. In Isaiah 51:16a, it says “I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadows(hollows) of my hand” so prayer brings us into His shadow and the hollow of his hand where we are covered from all the road accidents the devil brings our way. We must take authority over the word and declare it in faith even when faced with such a terrible situation, declaring the word from our mouth will bring it to pass and save us from the damnation that the devil has planned for us.

- Father, thank you for protecting me against all the plan and purpose of the devil and his agents, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let your protective hand continue to shield me from every array of darkness around my life and destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Father, because I dwell in your secret place, therefore, I abide under your shadow at all times and can’t be involved in any road accidents, in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Father, I decree and declare that I can’t not die in a road accident because Jesus is my rock and my refuge, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, because you are my refuge and my fortress, therefore I decree that I am highly fortified against every plan of the devil to use road accidents to kill me, in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Father, because I trust in you, I abide under your shadow, therefore by your shadow I am covered and protected from any road mishap wherever I may go, in the mighty name of Jesus.
