INTRODUCTION

God is a merciful and forgiving father. He loved us so much before we were created, the scripture said in Romans 5:8 that “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But He wants us to come to Him just as we are, He alms are always open to receive us whenever we ask Him to forgive and have mercy on us, therefore in our article today, we will be praying 50 mercy and forgiveness prayer points.

A sinful person cannot receive anything from God, except he or she asks for mercy of God and ask God to forgive all his or her short comings, the scripture says in Proverbs 15:8 that “The Lord detests the prayer of the sinner, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.  God is happy with us whenever we ask Him for mercy and forgiveness, and He is always ready to hear forgive and have mercy on us.

God is not like men who keeps record of shortcomings, ones we ask Him for forgiveness, He forgives and wipe the sins completely away from His records. No matter how bad or deep your sin may be, God will forgive and give you another chance if only you can open your mouth and ask Him for mercy. There is no moment you come back to Him that He will push you away, you will receive mercy even when you do not feel you deserved it, if only you can open your mouth and ask for it. When we ask for forgiveness of sins and mercies from God, we receive everything we ever need from God that is, asking for mercy and forgiveness of sins pave way for the release of other blessings into our lives.
