50 Prayer Points Against Profitless Handwork

Introduction

The word handwork means whatever one can do to earn a living. The Bible admonishes us in Ecclesiastes 9:10 “whatsoever thy hand finds to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave where thou goest.” So we see that handwork is ordained by God for us to earn our living and make life comfortable for us. God gave and blessed our hand work that might profit us and make us rich and wealthy. Ecclesiastes 5:19 says “Every man also whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God”. God ordained us for handworks and for it to be profitable for us. It is meant to make us rich and bring us into our wealthy place.

Today, we will look at prayer points against profitless handwork. Profitless handwork is when you are working and labouring, and there is nothing to show for it. When you can barely feed yourself and your family, when you work like an elephant and eat like an ant. Profitless handwork makes a man look irresponsible in society. It debases a man and makes him lack a voice.

The question is, who is behind profitless handwork?. The Bible has told us that God ordained handwork for profits. So who and what is behind this evil of profitless handwork?. The simple answer is, it is the devil that is at work in profitless handwork. The devil is here to steal and destroy the profits of your handwork, that is what he is currently doing. That is why you can’t account for your labour of several years. You don’t have anything to show for all the years you have been working and labouring. The devil is at work in that area of your life. The Bible says in Revelation 12:12 “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens and ye that dwell in them. Wow to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.” The devil is out to scatter the plan of God for your handwork. He has dispatched evil emissaries to achieve this at all times, especially to unsuspecting believers who don’t understand the tricks and gimmicks of the devil. That is what he did to Peter and the other fishermen until Jesus Christ came on the scene and loosed them from the captivity of profitless handwork.(Psalm 126:1-6).

God has made a way of escape for you today. 1corinthians 10:13, “There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” God has made a way of escape for you this morning. There shall be no more profitless handwork for you and around you anymore. God has made all your handwork fruitful and full of profit.

Your hand work is a gift from God and according to our earlier scriptures, the gift of God brings you to riches and wealth and you eat of the fruits of your labour. Therefore, expect that to be your portion this day. The Bible says that “For the gift and callings of God are without repentance” Romans 11:29. And Proverbs 18:16 says “A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men”. Therefore, from today that handwork that has been unprofitable all these years will begin to make way for you and bring you before great men. You will begin to see greatness and wealth like you have never seen before. Jesus loosed the  Surrounding the handwork of Peter and others. Therefore, He will loose that captivity surrounding your hand work today.

John 21:5-6 makes us understand that before Peter and the others could enclose that multitude of fish in their nets, they allowed Jesus into their ship. Brethren, will you allow Jesus into the ship of your life and handwork today?. If only you will allow Him in, so that you will see the massive turnaround that will come upon you, just like Peter did and he couldn’t pull the enclosed fish by himself. In order words Peter became an employer of labour instantly. You too will become an employer of labour by the virtue of what God is doing in your life right now. The Bible says in Isaiah 3:10, “say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings(handwork)”. Allowing Jesus into the ship of your life means you allow Him to be the controller of your life, just as the compass controls the direction of the ship. Only Jesus knows the direction where the fishes are per time. And when he leads you, he takes you to where your handwork becomes profitable per time. Let Jesus into your life today as your Lord and Saviour, and that profitless handwork will turn dramatically into fruitful profits.

There is also a place of prayer. Prayer is the key that unlocks whatever the devil and his agents have locked. The key of David is the master key that unlocks all kinds of padlock. Get that key today in prayer and fasting, and unlock every profitless handwork that you have been caged in. I see the mighty hand of God pull you out of profile hand work to great profitable handwork.
