But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to
you as well.
INTRODUCTION:
To seek God is a conscious effort and constantly setting our minds towards God in all our daily life. If you desire to be successful in life, your starting point must be God. To seek God first also means to know Him deeply and to have a cordial relationship with Him. Let us imagine you have a father, but you hardly talk to him, you don’t visit him, you don’t call him, but the father is always ready to receive you anytime you visit him. You will notice there will be a gap between you two. However, if you decide to change and start calling him frequently, you will notice your relationship will start flowing very well and you two are happy with each other.
The illustration above, is exactly what happens if we don’t take our relationship with God seriously. If we are far away from Him, things don’t go well with us, yet God is always ready to receive us anytime we call on Him. We must not make God an option, but we must make Him our only option. If we don’t seek Him, we feel discouraged, down casted, and troubled.
That was why He admonished us to seek Him first and His kingdom and every other thing, every other thing meant every good thing of life, and even after life will be added unto us. We must know that in life, not everyone will support our decisions or steps in life, this is why you must know that your decision to seek God’s face, depends on you. Therefore, anything or anyone that will not allow you to say ‘YES’ to God in totality must be avoided. There is a place for everyone in life, this can only happen when we surrender our all to God and seek His face.
Psalm 23:1 Says the Lord is my best friend; I always have more than enough. If the Lord is guiding us, we will always win it doesn’t matter what may come our way.
However, we can seek God’s face by constantly studying the words of God, listening to preaching from anointed men of God, going to a bible believing church or gathering, reading Godly Christian books and lastly by praying.

- Lord Jesus I thank You, for grace to make me know and receive You as my Lord and personal savior in Jesus name.
- I thank You Jesus for breaking the backbone of hell fire over my life in the name of Jesus.
- I break free from anything that is fighting against Your presence in my life in the name of Jesus.
- I receive grace to walk in the light of Your words every day in the name of Jesus.
- I withdraw myself from every attitude drawing me backward from seeking You daily in the name of Jesus.
- I declare my victory over every battle that may want to take me away from seeking God’s face in the name of Jesus.
- Lord Jesus, help me to walk in Your will and purpose for my life all the days of my life in Jesus name.
- I destroy every power of carnality over my walk with You in the name of Jesus.
- I reject frustration and depression that may want to force me out of God’s presence in the name of Jesus.
- Every man or woman shifting my mind away from the presence of God, die by fire in the name of Jesus.
- You spiritual blindness, blocking my spiritual sight in knowing God’s way die by fire in the name of Jesus.
- I crush every environmental factor that may want to take the presence of God away from me in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, sanitize my life against every short coming in the name of Jesus.
- Spiritual powerlessness, die in the name of Jesus.
- I overcome every power that does not want me to study your words consistently in the name of Jesus.
- Any chain binding me to spiritual stagnancy, die by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Lord be my shepherd all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
- I refuse to be on a pathway that leads people to destruction in the name of Jesus.
- I conquer every spiritual deafness to the voice of God over my life in the name of Jesus.
- I receive victory over sin and all the works of sin in the name of Jesus.
- I receive power to bring more people to the kingdom of God through my actions in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord renew a right spirit within me all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
- Curses of shame and reproach laid upon me as a result of serving You, backfire in the name of Jesus.
- I move from where I am to where You want me to be, in the name of Jesus.
- My life is hidden in Christ Jesus; therefore, I am an overcomer to every challenge of life in the name of Jesus.
- Because I am serving and seeking Your face, I will live and not die untimely in the name of Jesus.

- Your word says, your yoke is easy and Your burden is light, I break free from every burden and yoke that has weighed me down hitherto in the name of Jesus.
- Because I seek your face, I receive strength to carry on all of my daily activities in the name of Jesus.
- I receive the spirit of discernment, understanding and wisdom to walk uprightly, holy and acceptable to You all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
