Everyone has a calling, profession, ministry, business in which he or she is actively and purposely involved. Career can be said to be something someone does for a living and he or she is prepared and equipped to do it. 

There is a great purpose in everyone’s life placed on such a person by God and the person wants it to manifest into reality and maximum measures. Everyone has an ambition in his or her mind and he/she pursues it with great commitment and discipline.

It is the wish and desire of everyone to prosper and experience breakthroughs in their various fields of career and definitely that is also the wish of God for us.

What is Breakthrough?

Breakthrough is when a man/woman experiences a great turnaround in life and also it is when a man/woman’s life is at a blooming and flourish stage in life. 

Breakthrough is when someone’s career is productive and it’s serving the purpose to which we want it to serve.

It is the plan and wish of God for every of His children to excel in every area if their career is one major aspect. God has many great plans for us in life and this He revealed to us in 

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”

The above Bible verse is a clear indication of the plans of God for us as His children but as we know that as Christians and children of God we have an enemy which is the devil.

The devil is always out looking for lives to destroy, destinies to terminate  and children of God to frustrate and for this reason God gave us a clear warning in the scripture to be careful of the devil.

1 Peter 5:8 “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour”

This is showing clearly the importance of praying the prayer of breakthrough. When we pray the prayer of breakthrough we are reinforcing our authority and commanding things to work for our favour to ensure our career breakthrough. Breakthrough prayer is a prayer all Christians should always pray to ensure their victory in life.

How To Experience Breakthrough.

1. Faith: We must always believe in God when we pray. We must always believe that He has done it even before opening our mouth to pray. Our faith in God is compulsory and required in getting answers to our prayers.

Matthew 9:29 “Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”

2. Diligence: As Christians awaiting opportunity in one way or the other in our life, then we must know that our diligence is highly required. Diligence with our work, diligence in our service for God, diligence in our studies, diligence in our business, diligence in our career, diligence in our profession, diligence in our ministry and every other aspect of our lives. We must engage the power of diligence in every area of our lives so that we can be in the right position to identify and recognize opportunities and hence make productive and tangible use of them.
3. Positive Declarations: As Christians we must know that there is power in our tongues and the power of positive declarations cannot be underestimated. We must learn to declare positive words of healing every moment of our lives, because our environment responds to the positive declarations that proceeds from our mouth and tongue. Hence we must always declare positive words of healing .
4. Serving God: Stewardship to God is a very important aspect and a very powerful way in fighting and winning the war against all foes of the enemy including Marine spirit and Witchcraft. It is a way of obtaining God’s favour. When we serve God, then we are automatically abiding under the power and protection of God.

Luke 4:8

“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.”

5. Prayer: As children of God, one of the most important we obtain favor from God is engaging the power of prayer. We must always pray the prayer of favour so we can be a beneficiary of the favor of God.
