Thanksgiving is the act of giving thanks to God, it is the expression of heartfelt gratitude to Him, it is the act of being grateful, it is the act of acknowledging the goodness, favour and kindness of God.

The only way we show our heart of gratitude to our Heavenly Father is through thanksgiving. And as grateful children of God, we ought to thank and worship God every moment of our lives and we should give thanks to God from a willing heart. It is only when we thank God we can easily access the presence of God and through that we are to relate with him as Child to Father.  Acts 16:24 “Paul and Silas were miraculously released from prison when they worshipped God, hence this is showing us the great and mighty works worshipping God can wrought in our lives as children of God”

Acts 16:25 “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed”

35. God, I worship you for silence and calming all the raging storms of my life, career, destiny, family, academics, marriage and ministry in Jesus name.
36. My Father, I thank you for rescuing me from the snares of the fowlers in Jesus name.
