Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”

We serve a God who loves us dearly. It is clearly evident that we live in a world ravaged by demonic powers, and among the demonic forces, we have a serpent and a scorpion. The devil deceived Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden using the form of serpent representing cunningness. This spirit and many others are still at work till today, but we have a very powerful assurance in Christ Jesus by letting us know that we have been given the power to trample on the serpents and scorpions and over all our enemies. What a great privilege and a great bestowed upon us! The only thing required of us is just to make sure we are in Christ and Him in us.
