Powerful Psalms To Command The Day

Psalms 90:14  O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

One of the careless things a believer must try hard not to do, is entering a new day without prayerfully commanding the day.

As believers our role is to redeem each day (Ephesians 5:16) we see from all evils, by commanding that all that will happen on that day shall not bring us sorrow rather all shall bring to us growth, favor, financial upliftment and spiritual maturity.

It is very important for every believer who wants to experience the peace of God daily, to command the day.

Asides from averting evils, when you command  the day, you are simply compelling all forces in Creation to align to your desires and plan for the day, so your testimony can be that the lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places, Psalm 16:4

I have taken note that usually when I command the day, sudden disaster does not catch up with my family. When I command the day, it usually happens as I have commanded, for instance, on the days I command that financial blessings must be located, so it always happens.

This is because the Word of God has promised me that I shall decree a thing and it shall be established (Job 22:28).

Meanwhile, how best can we command the day? By speaking mere words of human wisdom? Definitely not! 

The best way to command the day, and the best method to command the day is by using Scriptures. When you back up your decree with the Word of God, everything in creation will simply obey because the Words of God are spirit and life.

1. Psalms 121:2-6  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

Decree: I Decree This Day That Because The Lord Is My Helper, I Shall Not Be Moved, no evil shall befall me and my family, in Jesus name.

2. Psalm 91

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Decree: Because the angels of the Lord have been given charge concerning me, I decree this day that I shall not enter into satanic traps,  it is well with me and my family, all through this day in Jesus mighty name.

3. Psalm 103

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crown thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Command: Today,  I and my family shall not lack, our mouth will be filled with good things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

4. Psalms 16:5  

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintain my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

Command: I decree this day that everything in creation shall work in favor of me and my family, all decisions made at my workplace shall end in my favor, every meeting held concerning me shall end in my favor In Jesus mighty name.

5. Psalm 46: 9-11

 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he break the bow, and cut the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Prayer: Every war raging against me this day, I command it to cease, every arrow targeted against me today, I command it to go back to the sender, i shall be still, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

6. Psalm 23:4,6

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Prayer: I decree that no matter what happens this day, I and my family shall be safe, we shall not die, instead the goodness and mercy of God shall go with me this day, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

7. Psalm 118:24-25

 This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

Prayer: I shall be glad today no matter the stunt the devil pulls against me, I shall rejoice, and my prosperity shall come speedily in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

8. Psalm 127:1-2

Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman watch but in vain.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

Prayer: I decree today that I shall not engage in fruitless activities, I refuse to eat the bread of infirmity, I shall experience peace all around in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

9. Psalm 5:3

Psalms 5:3  My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Prayer: Father let my prayer rise up to you this morning and let my answers come speedily I’m the mighty name of Jesus Christ

10. Psalm 143:8-10

Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Prayer: As I go this day, I decree that the loving kindness of God is going with me, and I shall succeed in all my ways in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

11. Psalms 90:14  O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Prayer: Father please satisfy me with your mercy this day, that I may rejoice all my days, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

12. Psalms 21:6

For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

Prayer: This Day I decree that the presence of God shall go with me and His blessings shall be evident in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

13. Psalms 29:11

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Prayer: Father I receive your strength for myself and my family this day, that we shall excel in all areas of our endeavor in Jesus mighty name.

14. Psalms 31:21

Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.

Prayer: I receive the great loving kindness of God upon my life and wherever I go this day, I shall find favor in Jesus Mighty Name

15. Psalms 28:6

Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications

Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus for all answered prayers.
